Here's What The Kardashians Will Look Like In 40 Years
A leaked sex tape rarely has happy consequences for those involved, but in the case of Kim Kardashian, it was a blessing in disguise. She was a relatively unknown crony of reality TV star Paris Hilton when an intimate video of her and then-boyfriend Ray J appeared online in 2007, but Kardashian went on to become incredibly famous in her own right. Under the guidance of savvy momager Kris Jenner, Kardashian turned the situation on its head and used the sudden interest to her advantage. She cut a deal for a new reality show dealing with the aftermath of the leak, and thus began the reign of the Kardashians.
The Kardashian name is now known all over the world — a billion-dollar empire that doesn't show any signs of slowing down. The ever-growing pool of Kardashian kids means this reality TV reign could continue for decades, but will Kim K and company still be seeking the spotlight in their golden years? And if so, what will they look like? It's hard to imagine the glamorous gals and guys of the Kardashian circle as elderly superstars, but you don't have to. According to online facial manipulation technology, via FaceApp, this is what they're going to look like in 40 years. It will blow your mind.
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian appears to have taken motherhood in stride, but the reality star and entrepreneur admitted she worries about getting older "every single day" during a candid interview with The Cut. "There's a sense of calmness and wisdom you get from life, but it also just sucks," the mom-of-four said of aging. "There's no easy way." Despite her concerns, Kardashian looks amazing. She decided to drastically overhaul her diet and workout regimen after some unflattering photos of her post-pregnancy body popped up online in 2017. "I get up every morning between 5:30 and 6; workout before my kids get up," she revealed during an appearance on The View (via Women's Health). Will she still be hitting the gym in her 70s? Honestly, it wouldn't surprise us.
Kourtney Kardashian
She definitely doesn't look it, but Kourtney Kardashian turned 40 in 2019. She celebrated the milestone with a star-studded bash that was attended by musicians French Montana, Robin Thicke, and Sia, as well as her famous siblings. Kourtney looked stunning in her vintage Versace gown, but she admitted that getting older was causing her anxiety. "I do think that turning 40, it almost makes you analyze where you're at in your life," Kourtney told sister Khloé during an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The Poosh founder has nothing to worry about if the picture above is anything to go by — she's going to look much better than most of us will at 80.
Khloé Kardashian
Has Khloé Kardashian been aging in reverse? According to W magazine, the youngest Kardashian sister has managed to pull off the illusion of getting younger every year since she adopted an intense skincare routine, essential if you want to stay fresh-looking in the California heat. "It's so important to protect your skin from the sun, I can never emphasize it enough," Kardashian said. "I even keep sunscreen in my glove compartment — some people don't realize that you're still highly exposed even when you're inside of your car." However, no amount of sunscreen can stop father time in his tracks.
Kendall Jenner
You can see both Kris and Caitlyn Jenner in their daughter, Kendall Jenner, and when you age her by 40 years, her parents' genetic influence becomes even more apparent. Kendall is often credited as the most naturally beautiful of the Kardashian-Jenner brood, reportedly eschewing surgery and cosmetic procedures to keep her model looks intact. Will she stick to this philosophy as she gets older? Time will tell, but one thing we do know is that she finds the idea of getting old daunting. "It's scary," she told The Sunday Times' Style magazine back in 2015 (via E! News). "Life is scary."
Kylie Jenner
Not many people expected Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to lose the title of youngest self-made billionaire to someone from the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but the crown now belongs to Kylie Jenner, whose Kylie Cosmetics is expected to generate $1 billion in lifetime sales by 2022. Critics of the makeup guru claim that she isn't actually self-made, but Jenner refutes this. "I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15," she told E! News. "Not a dime in my bank account is inherited ... and I am very proud of that." Older skin requires a different approach when it comes to makeup, however, so Jenner will have to adapt if she wants to stay on fleek into her sixties.
Kris Jenner
Kris Jenner will be in triple figures in 40 years time, but would you really be that surprised to see her hit that milestone? The Kardashian matriarch has continued to give age the finger into her sixties and give women half her age a run for their money. This woman is arguably defying time, but the Kardashian-Jenner momager is well aware that she can't lead the pack forever. Tears were shed in a 2019 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians when Jenner agreed to let daughter Kim Kardashian spearhead the family's annual Christmas Eve party, something she's taken great pride in for a long time. "It's not just a party," Jenner said (via the Daily Mail). "It's changing of the guards. It means I'm getting old."
Caitlyn Jenner
Will Caitlyn Jenner still be around in 40 years time? She'd be over 100 years old, which is no mean feat, but then again, she was an Olympic gold medal-winning, record-breaking athlete, so fitness and endurance are in her blood. Regardless, this Jenner is determined to live life to the fullest in what she described as the "fourth quarter of life" during an interview with The Guardian. "I thought, 'I'm going to do this before my 40s — I'm not going to be an old chick, I don't want to be an old chick.' And I got to 39 and I couldn't do it." She was 65 when she finally decided to transition, and she's not looking back.
Kanye West
The subject of aging rarely comes up when Kanye West sits down for an interview, largely because there's a long list of other topics that people want to discuss with him. Kim Kardashian's baby daddy is now in his forties, but before his struggles with mental health and his support of Donald Trump's administration dominated the conversation, the producer and rapper would readily discuss the pitfalls of getting older. "I hate my thirties," he told Rolling Stone back in 2007. "It's going to take me a while to get used to it. I envy people who like getting older, because I don't." We don't know what he's so worried about — Grandpa Kanye looks pretty cool to us.
Scott Disick
If model Sofia Richie is still with Scott Disick in 40 years time, the guy above is who she'll be waking up next to. The 16-year age gap between Lionel Richie's daughter and the father of Kourtney Kardashian's kids has been a hot topic since the pair became an item, one that Kim Kardashian didn't shy away from during a conversation with Disick on a 2018 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. "Do you ever find yourself in a moment when you're like, 'grow up'?" Kim Kardashian asked Kourtney's ex. Disick took the question on the chin, defending his relationship with Richie in a testimonial. "This is the first time I've ever been with anybody different, but it's been a really good thing for me," the father-of-three said (via InStyle).
Travis Scott
Another Kardashian adjacent: Travis Scott is the father of Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi Webster. The reality star, born in 1997, was just 19 when she met the rapper (real name Jacques Webster) at Coachella in 2017. Scott was born in 1991, but their age gap isn't quite as big as Jenner and her ex-beau, Tyga, born in 1989. Jenner clearly prefers older men, but will she be happy with how Scott looks in 40 years? We'll have to wait and see if they stand the test of time. One thing's for sure — Scott's neck tattoo won't be any easier to read four decades down the line. Does it say duke or puke? We still don't know.
Rob Kardashian
Last but not least, we've got Rob Kardashian – the often-overlooked member of this famous fam. Rob (named after his father, late businessman and attorney Robert Kardashian) appeared in some of the earliest episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but he's dropped off the radar in recent years. He's reportedly struggled with his weight, and even though he dropped some pounds with the help of his family, he's become a Hollywood recluse. He seemingly reappeared on Instagram in 2019 (he was banned from the platform in 2017 after posting controversial images of his former fiancée and baby mama, Blac Chyna), but according to Page Six, his account is now being run by his mom's company, Jenner Communications. At this rate, the next time we see Rob, he could very well look like the picture above.
