Jeff Lewis Slams Ex Gage Edward Following Breakup
Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis is apparently furious with his ex-boyfriend, Gage Edward.
On Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, Lewis unleashed his anger during an episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Jeff Lewis Live, venting that Edward supposedly went on a date days after their recent split. "We've been getting along pretty well until I found out that he went out on a date on Saturday night," the Bravo celebrity said about his former partner of ten years (via Us Weekly). "So that, number one, is a big f**king misstep." Yikes.
Lewis, who shares a 2-year-old daughter with Edward, claimed the date took place at Beverly Hills hotspot Mastro's Steakhouse, according to People. The real estate mogul wasn't thrilled that his ex supposedly chose a high-profile spot to dine, especially when he learned of the mystery man's identity.
"I have been doing some information gathering on my own. Again, I know who this person is. I will not say his name, but I think just for today we're gonna call him 'Home-wrecker,'" Lewis said, adding, "'Home-wrecker,' I think, has been in his ear for quite some time. I think 'Home-wrecker' has exploited a very vulnerable situation. I think this started as a gym buddy friend, and I think this person has had his sights on him, Gage, for quite some time."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Lewis announced his breakup from Edward on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2019. "This has been a long time coming," Lewis announced. "We were in separate rooms a significant portion of last year, so it was kind of like a roommate situation."
Although Lewis initially didn't rule out a reconciliation, he's now afraid that the split could get "contentious" in the future. But despite any bad blood that might exist between the two, the television personality made it clear that he won't use their child as a pawn. "If there's bumps in the road — and there could be, and this could get a little contentious — I just want to vow that I will never use our baby as a weapon," he explained, as reported by People. "He needs to know that. He has 24-hour access."
Of course, we wish Lewis and Edward the best as they navigate their co-parenting journey.
