Priyanka Chopra Takes Husband Nick Jonas' Last Name On Social Media

Actress Priyanka Chopra just revealed that she's taken husband Nick Jonas' last name ... at least on Instagram.

Us Weekly reports that the former Quantico star, 36, changed her name on Instagram to "Priyanka Chopra Jonas" in the bio section of her account on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018. The big name change comes on the heels of her high profile wedding to singer and actor Nick Jonas, 26, whom she wed in India on Saturday, Dec. 1.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Chopra and Jonas, who have a 10-year age difference, married at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in front of family and friends. They first tied the knot in a traditional Christian ceremony officiated by Jonas' father, Kevin Jonas Sr., before marrying again in a Hindu ceremony the next day (via CNN).

Nick Jonas' older brother Joe Jonas, with whom he'd been in the popular band the Jonas Brothers with sibling Kevin, spoke out about the extravagant wedding festivities during an interview with the Today show on Dec. 6. "It's been fantastic," he shared. "Obviously, this has been one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen and to be a part of it was a dream."

Opening up about his toast as his younger brother's best man, Joe, 29, shared, "I think it was pretty good. I kind of blacked out for a minute because of just ... overwhelmed with emotion." The DNCE singer, who is engaged to 22-year-old Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, noted, "This is not only my brother, best friend, and to see him marrying his dream girl ... there was a lot of tears this whole weekend and a lot of smiles."

Since getting hitched, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have made their first red carpet appearance as husband and wife. The two attended a launch party for the dating app Bumble, for which Chopra is an investor, in New Delhi on Wednesday, Dec. 5, as reported by People magazine.

Regarding their presence at the event despite their marriage just days earlier, Chopra told India's NDTV, "We've both worked very hard to be where we are, and we don't take it for granted," adding, "My commitments matter to me a lot. My word is my bond."

Hopefully we'll see more red carpet appearances from Chopra and Jonas in the future.
