Billions Star Malin Akerman Marries Fiance Jack Donnelly

Billions star Malin Akerman is officially off the market!

On Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, the Swedish-Canadian actress took to Instagram to confirm recent reports that she and fiancé, British actor Jack Donnelly, tied the knot over the weekend.

"I feel so lucky that I got to marry my best friend #JackDonnelly!!!" Akerman wrote to her 375,000 followers, captioning a sweet snapshot of the newlyweds celebrating their big day. "Thank you to our family and friends for making this weekend so fun and magical! Many thanks also to our amazing wedding team – we couldn't have done it without you!"

With Akerman donning a pink Cushnie dress and Donnelly wearing a navy vest and pants combo designed by Paul Smith, the happy couple exchanged their vows in front of their close family and friends in a romantic beach ceremony, E! News reports. The wedding was held at the Playa Playa Project in Tulum, Mexico on Saturday, Dec. 1.

According to a source cited by the publication, "They were both barefoot and the waves came up on the shore and got their feet wet throughout the ceremony. It was a brief but beautiful ceremony. The waves were crashing and it was a perfect day." The insider added that the newly married pair "seemed ecstatic and blissful," adding, "They kissed over and over again. Malin jumped into Jack's arms and didn't want to come down."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Akerman, 40, and Donnelly, 33, announced their engagement in October 2017 — just months after going public with their relationship that March. "This sweet and loving man has stepped into our lives and stole both our hearts!" the actress wrote on social media at the time, captioning a sweet photo of the engaged pair. "I think we're gonna keep him around for a while #engaged #isaidyes #jackdonnelly #family #yes."

Their wedding marks Akerman's second marriage. She and ex-husband Roberto Zincone divorced in 2013 after six years of marriage. The former couple share one child together, a 5-year-old son named Sebastian.
