Fuller House's Bob Saget Marries Girlfriend Kelly Rizzo

Congratulations are in order for Fuller House star Bob Saget and his longtime fiancée, blogger Kelly Rizzo!

On Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, the actor took to Instagram to announce that the happy couple married in a gorgeous ceremony held in Santa Monica, Calif.

"Okay, so we went and did it. And damn are we happy," Saget wrote to his 981,000 followers, captioning a sweet snapshot of the newlyweds on their big day. For her part, Rizzo shared another photo from their nuptials. Alongside bride and groom emojis, she wrote, "@bobsaget and I dressed up as a bride and groom for Halloween. Seriously though, best day of my life."

According to E! News, the newly married pair exchanged their vows at Shutters on the Beach in front of their closest family and friends — including some famous faces like John Mayer and Saget's longtime co-star Dave Coulier. With the '90s sitcom dad sporting a black tux, his glowing bride donned a white lace Pronovias wedding gown. As Rizzo told Us Weekly, "The night was perfection and the love and support from our family and friends was overwhelming. Oh and the food was fantastic!"

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Saget, 62, and Rizzo, 39, announced their engagement in November 2017, after first meeting through a mutual friend two years prior. While recalling his casual proposal to People magazine, the comedian said, "We were watching Stranger Things on the iPad and then I got up to go to the restroom and I opened the safe. And I took out a ring that I'd been hiding for four days, and I got on one knee and she said, 'What are you doing?' And she got very emotional and so did I" (via Today).

Saget, who has three daughters from his previous marriage to attorney Sherri Kramer, added, "I did it and I adore her and she's fantastic. So I'm a very lucky man. This is the beginning of something wonderful."

Elsewhere in the Full House sphere, 2018 has also marked a major year in John Stamos' personal life. After trying to knot with Caitlin McHugh in February 2018 following a five-month engagement, the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Billy, in April.
