Hilary Duff Welcomes Baby Girl With Boyfriend Matthew Koma

Congratulations are in order for actress-singer Hilary Duff and her longtime boyfriend, Matthew Koma!

On Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, the Younger star took to Instagram to announce that the happy couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Banks Violet Bair, late last week.

"This little bit has fully stolen our hearts!" Duff wrote alongside a heart emoji to her 10.4 million followers, captioning a sweet snapshot of the proud parents holding and smiling down at their newborn daughter. "She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic."

For his part, Koma shared the same photo, writing, "Banks Violet Bair /// 10.25.18 /// We welcome a beautiful daughter, little sister, and best friend for life. Could not possibly be more grateful for our growing family and for the [tangerine emoji] who makes it all possible. Cloud ten."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Duff, 30, first announced that she and Koma, 31, were expecting their first child together in early June 2018. Alongside a pic of the two lovebirds together, the Lizzie McGuire alum, who already shares 6-year-old son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie, wrote, "Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn't be more excited!!!!!!" The longtime couple, who sparked engagement rumors last month, shared their exciting pregnancy news just days after Duff's older sister, Haylie, welcomed baby no. 2 with fiancé Matt Rosenberg. 

A number of other celebs have shared exciting baby announcements of their own in recent weeks — including Luke Cage star Mike Colter and his Netflix executive wife, Iva Colter. The married pair, who are also parents to 3-year-old daughter Naiella, welcomed their second child together, a baby girl, earlier this month. Meanwhile, Porsha Williams of The Real Housewives of Atlanta revealed on Saturday, Oct. 27 that she and her new fiancé, Dennis McKinley, are also expecting a daughter together. The soon-to-be-parents announced their engagement in mid-September 2018.
