Actress Zoe Kravitz Reveals Secret Engagement To Actor Karl Glusman

Congratulations are in order for Big Little Lies star Zoë Kravitz and her longtime boyfriend, Nocturnal Animals actor Karl Glusman.

During her cover story interview for the November 2018 issue of Rolling Stone, published on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, the actress revealed that the couple secretly got engaged back in February of this year.

"Oh yeah, I'm engaged," Kravitz replied when the interviewer noticed her engagement ring. She added, "I haven't told anyone yet — I mean, I haven't told the world. I wanted to keep it private." 

According to People magazine, Kravitz, 29, and Glusman, 30, first met through mutual friends at a bar in 2016, before going public with their relationship at a Kings of Leon concert that October. Of her fiancé, Kravitz, who's the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and The Cosby Show alum Lisa Bonet, told Rolling Stone, "I can be my weirdest self around him. It's so relaxing to be around someone where you can be a hundred percent how you feel."

While recalling the moment Glusman popped the question, the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald star explained that he opted for a low-key proposal at home after his initial plan to propose during a romantic trip to Paris went awry due to work obligations. "I was in sweatpants. I think I was a little drunk. I could feel his heart beating so fast — I was like, 'Baby, are you OK?' I was actually worried about him!" Kravitz said. However, she added, "He nailed it. And I love that it wasn't this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants." 

For his part, Glusman, who has yet to publicly comment on the cute couple's engagement, has since taken to Instagram to gush over his fiancée. "My Love, my hero, best friend and greatest inspiration," he wrote, captioning a snapshot of Kravitz's Rolling Stone cover. "You're so f**king cool @zoeisabellakravitz. Still pinching myself daily... THAT'S MY LADY!!!"

These two aren't the only celeb pairing to share major relationship news in recent weeks. As Nicki Swift previously reported, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams announced her engagement to Dennis McKinley in late September 2018. Just a few days prior to this, the newly engaged couple revealed that they were expecting their first child together, a baby girl.
