John Oliver, Wife Kate Norley Secretly Welcomed Baby No. 2 Months Ago

Comedian John Oliver is a dad for the second time!

Fresh off his show's multiple wins at the 2018 Emmy Awards, the Last Week Tonight host revealed to People magazine that he and his wife, Army veteran Kate Norley, secretly welcomed their second child, a baby boy, earlier this summer.

When asked where he plans on keeping his new awards, the Daily Show alum quipped, "I have no idea! We have a 3-month-old, so as far away from the 3-month-old as possible." Of being a new father-of-two, Oliver said, "It's bewildering [and] exhausting juggling that and the show, but no, it's the greatest."

Oliver, 41, and Norley, 35, tied the knot in 2011 after meeting at the 2008 Republican National Convention. The happy couple welcomed their first child, son Hudson, in November 2015. 

During his recent interview with People, the Jon Stewart protégé told the magazine that little Hudson will be starting preschool soon. "It's going to be incredible," the proud dad said, before joking about how he'll most likely feel on his eldest son's first day of school. "As a British person, I don't really have a middle ground — it's either no emotion at all or I'm collapsing in tears," Oliver, who will voice Zazu in Disney's live-action version of The Lion King, noted. "So it will probably be the second one."

At the time of this writing, additional details about Oliver and Norley's second child, including his date of birth and name, have yet to be revealed. However, based on the British comedian's speech at the Emmys, fans have since speculated that the proud parents may have named their little one Marlo.

In recent weeks, a number of other celeb pairings have shared exciting baby announcements of their own — including Teen Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. Having revealed last Thursday, Sept. 13, that they're expecting their third child together after suffering a miscarriage not too long ago, the proud mom has since announced baby no. 3's expected arrival. "My expected due date is March 6th," she told Radar Online. After confessing that it felt "scary and emotional" when the reality TV stars first found out Lowell was pregnant again, she said, "Once it sunk in, we started getting more and more excited."
