Vanderpump Rules Star Lala Kent Announces Engagement To Boyfriend Randall Emmett
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is engaged!
On Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, the reality TV star, whose real name is Lauryn Kent, took to Instagram to announce her recent engagement with her longtime boyfriend, producer Randall Emmett.
"Last night was the best night of my entire life," the model wrote, captioning a slideshow of photos from Emmett's romantic proposal on Saturday evening, Sept. 1. "I got engaged to the man of my dreams. I get to call this amazing human my fiancé! An engagement last night, my birthday today, and every sign my dad could possibly send me to let me know he's here. I'm the happiest girl in the world."
For his part, Emmett posted a sweet snapshot of himself kissing his new fiancée on the cheek while she showed off her gorgeous ring, writing, "She said 'yes.'"
Emmett had popped the question during the couple's Cabo San Lucas, Mexico vacation, the bride-to-be revealed to People magazine, saying, "This weekend has been an amazing one for the two of us! It was definitely the most romantic moment of my life. Every detail of the surprise was stunning and I'm still in shock."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kent, 28, and Emmett, 46, confirmed their relationship in December 2017 after keeping their romance under wraps for about a year and a half. At the time, the two were spotted kissing at a FabFitFun event in Beverly Hills, Calif. Emmett, who's the executive producer of Power, was previously married to Aquarius actress Ambyr Childers. The former couple share two children together.
During an interview with SiriusXM's The Jenny McCarthy Show earlier this summer, Kent revealed that Emmett had asked her father for her hand in marriage prior to his sudden passing in April 2018. "That makes me so happy, because I am struggling with the fact that I won't have a dad to see me have babies or get married," she said at the time (via Entertainment Tonight). "So it just means a lot to me that Rand did that before he passed."
Kent and Emmett aren't the only couple in the Vanderpump Rules sphere to get engaged this year. Jax Taylor proposed to Brittany Cartwright in early June after dating on-and-off for three years.
Congratulations to Kent and Emmett on their engagement!
