Total Divas Star Natalya Neidhart Breaks Silence On Dad Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart's Death
Total Divas star Natalya Neidhart is mourning the loss of her father, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart.
The pro wrestling superstar first took to Instagram on Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, to pay tribute to the WWE legend following his sudden passing.
"I can't put into words how hard it is going to be for myself and our family to have to say goodbye to my dad," Natalya wrote, captioning a slideshow of photos of her famous dad. "He meant the world to us, and nothing will ever replace the special times we shared together as a family. My dad was always a fighter and an incredibly special person. There was no one like him! I'm just gonna miss him so much."
She continued, "We are going to hold all of the moments we had with him close to our hearts forever and never let them go. I promise to keep your memory alive. We love you so much, Daddy!"
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Jim Neidhart died in his Florida home on Monday morning, Aug. 13, after reportedly suffering a medical emergency. "Preliminary information indicates that [Neidhart] fell at home, hit his head, and succumbed to his injury," the Pasco Sheriff's Office told TMZ, adding that no foul play was suspected. He was 63 years old, and is survived by his wife, Ellie, and their three children: daughters Jennifer, Natalie [Natalya], and Kristen.
After news of Jim's death broke, a number of fans and members of the WWE community took to social media to share their thoughts and express their condolences, including Natalya's fellow Total Divas castmate, Nikki Bella. "RIP Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart. Your legacy will continue," she wrote, in part, on Instagram. "Your talent and personality will never be forgotten. And your amazing support of so many of us WWE Superstars will always be cherished."
Meanwhile, Natalya took to social media again on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 14, to thank everyone for their love and support. "It means so much to us in this tough time," the reality TV star wrote on behalf of her family. "My dad would be so blown away that you all thought so much of him." She added, "In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a cause that's close to my heart and my dad's, womensalzheimersmovement.org."
Our thoughts are with Jim Neidhart's loved ones during this difficult time.
