Singer Leona Lewis Engaged To Boyfriend Dennis Jauch

Leona Lewis, former The X Factor winner and "Bleeding Love" singer, is reportedly engaged to her longtime love, dancer and choreographer Dennis Jauch.

People reports that Lewis and Jauch are engaged to be married after dating for eight years. Previously, fans had thought that Jauch may have proposed after Lewis was seen rocking a sparkly new ring on that finger in both photos and videos on her Instagram Story.

It's currently unclear just when and where Jauch popped the big question. However, Lewis and Jauch have been spending a lot of time together in San Juan, Puerto Rico lately, as noted by People magazine — so it's possible that Jauch got down on bended knee in the Caribbean, where Lewis was filming the second season of The Oath, a drama series on Sony Crackle.

Jauch, who started dating Lewis in 2010 after working as her backup dancer, celebrated eight long years with his then-girlfriend by sharing a collage of photos of the pair on his Instagram account in early August. In the post's caption, he wrote, "It's been the most beautiful 8 years of my life with this incredible human being. Here's to many more beautiful memories."

Though Lewis has been rather tight-lipped about their romance in the press, she did admit that things were "going really good" in their relationship back in December 2013. However, at the time, she thought that marriage was still very far off in her future. "We haven't talked about marriage yet. It is something I want to do at some point," she shared with Metro. "I did want to get married in my 20s. That was always a weird thing for me."

But while she's wanted to get hitched for quite some time, she also feared that she wasn't prepared to settle down. "I feel like you think you are going to be ready but then you get to your late 20s and you're not ready," she said.

Well, now that Lewis is 33 years old, she's apparently finally ready to take that next step in her relationship with Jauch. Congratulations to the happy couple!
