What We Know About NHL Star Jonathan Marchessault's Wife Alexandra
If you're a hockey fan, specifically the Las Vegas Golden Knights, then you've heard of forward Jonathan Marchessault. Hailing from Quebec, Canada, the young talent first got a taste of professional hockey fame after signing with the AHL team, Connecticut Whale. It didn't take long for him to gain notoriety in the American hockey division due to his impressive plays. As a result of his eye-opening skills, Marchessault found himself in the NHL first as a recall for the Tampa Bay Lighting and then later as a right wing for the Golden Knights, for which he currently plays.
In addition to his successful career as one of the most popular hockey players in the NHL, Marchessault has also made a name for himself as a family man and dedicated husband to his wife, Alexandra. "We've known each other since my first year in Hartford," he explained in the YouTube documentary VGK Origins. "We got to know each other there, long distance, and she was on a trip with her friend in New York, and we met up, and the rest is history." Alexandra echoed similar sentiments about the start of the relationship in the same interview. "One day, he was playing in Hartford, I decided to just risk it, you know, why not? I don't know what I was thinking," she said. But what else do we know about Alexandra?
Alexandra Marchessault is a proud stay-at-home mom of four
Shortly after marrying Golden Knights player Jonathan Marchessault, Alexandra and her husband wasted no time starting their big happy family. In 2014, the pair welcomed their first son, James Alexander, with the talented hockey star even helping with the delivery, according to Syracuse. In the years following James' arrival, the couple welcomed three more children — Victoria, Will, and Henry John. Since then, Alexandra has used her time to create a loving environment for their children by renovating their Summerlin, Las Vegas home. "It's nice to build a house that they're gonna remember, I think it's nice for our family. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it," she told FOX5 Las Vegas in 2018.
In an interview with Las Vegas Review-Journal, Alexandra opened up about personally designing each child's bedroom versus hiring a designer. "We know what we want. We have similar tastes, and we used to remodel houses," she revealed. In addition to creating a happy home for their children, Alexandra is also their No. 1 cheerleader, often using her Instagram account to highlight their life achievements and milestones.

Outside of family life, Alexandra Marchessault has also formed a close-knit bond with the wives and girlfriends of other Golden Knights players. Known as the Golden Girls, Marchessault and her fellow WAGS have come together to host an array of charitable events, including canned food and toy drives. The group has also been known to hit the Las Vegas strip to celebrate each other's engagements or attend Golden Knights playoff games in matching jackets. In 2022, Marchessault and the group threw "The Bachelor" star Emily Ferguson, who's now married to William Karlsson, a raging bachelorette party in Sin City's Circa Las Vegas hotel.
In an Instagram post featuring the mom of four, Emily gushed about celebrating her pre-wedding celebration with the Golden Girls. "Yesterday was so much fun, and my cheeks hurt from laughing so much. These girls know how to throw a bachelorette party! Love you forever & always my Golden Girls," she wrote in April 2022.
