Michael Buble, Wife Luisana Lopilato Welcome And Reveal Name Of Third Child
Congratulations are in order for singer Michael Bublé and wife Luisana Lopilato!
On Tuesday, July 31, 2018, the "Haven't Met You Yet" singer's rep revealed the name of the couple's third child, People magazine reports. Their baby girl, Vida Amber Betty Bublé, was born just last Wednesday, July 25.
"The family is back home and are overjoyed with the new addition," Bublé's rep released in a statement, while explaining the special meaning behind the names: Amber and Betty happen to be Bublé and Lopilato's mothers' names, respectively, while "Vida" means "life" in Spanish.
Lopilato, 31, first revealed that she and Bublé, 42, had welcomed baby no. 3 on Instagram last Thursday, July 26. "How to explain that our heart explodes with love? That there's not enough hours in a day to think about it," the Argentinian actress wrote in Spanish (English translation via People), captioning a black-and-white snapshot of her newborn daughter's hand. "I thank God for making us this gift of life and happiness! Because looking in her eyes is looking at heaven itself!"
The mom-of-three concluded her heartfelt post with, "We love you to infinity and beyond. We waited for you not only to grow as a family ... you gave us light, hope, you are and will be our souls' life."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, the married pair, who tied the knot in 2011, first sparked pregnancy rumors after Lopilato posted a photo of herself in loose-fitting clothes on social media in February 2018. Shortly after, Bublé's rep confirmed that the Bublé clan was indeed expanding. During an appearance on Today FM's Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show in late June, the "Everything" singer announced that they were expecting a baby girl.
The happy couple are already parents to two sons: Noah, 4, and Elias, 2. The exciting pregnancy news came just over a year after it was announced that their eldest child had been diagnosed with liver cancer in November 2016. After Noah underwent chemotherapy treatment in the United States, Lopilato revealed in April 2017 that he was thankfully cancer-free.
Prior to returning to the stage earlier this month, Bublé opened up about how his son's cancer struggle had changed his outlook on life. "Emotionally, it's a roller-coaster," he told Entertainment Tonight Canada in March of this year. "I think life sort of teaches you these hard lessons sometimes. Part of that lesson is that it allowed me to really have perspective, and to really enjoy more than I ever have in my life. I enjoy the small things."
A number of other celebrity couples have shared baby news of their own in recent weeks. Country music star Jason Aldean and wife Brittany Kerr are already expecting baby no. 2 after welcoming their first child together, son Memphis, last December. Meanwhile, Jersey Shore's Deena Cortese revealed on Instagram that she's pregnant with her first child, a baby boy, with husband Chris Buckner.
