2 Broke Girls Star Beth Behrs Marries Actor Michael Gladis
Actress Beth Behrs has tied the knot!
On Monday, July 23, 2018, the 2 Broke Girls star took to Instagram to reveal that she and her longtime boyfriend, Mad Men actor Michael Gladis, are officially married.
"I do, we did," she wrote, captioning a sweet snapshot of the newlyweds on their big day. "Best day of my life." While sharing another gorgeous pic, Behrs wrote, "Ms. ➡️ Mrs. Take me back!" As revealed in a Martha Stewart Weddings exclusive, the couple had exchanged their personalized vows in a scenic ceremony, which was held at the Moose Creek Ranch in Victor, Idaho.
Behrs, 32, and Gladis, 40, had announced their engagement in July 2016 after six years of dating. "I said yes!! 💍💍💍💍💕💕💕6 years down a lifetime to go! #love," the actress posted on social media at the time. For his part, Gladis tweeted, "She said 'yes!!' So happy. So relieved. So hung over!"
Shortly after, Behrs gushed to E! News about the romantic proposal, saying, "He proposed on our friends Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend's rooftop at sunset with a private jazz band playing my favorite Miles Davis/John Coltrane song overlooking Manhattan! It was magical. I was sobbing!"
Congratulations to the happy couple! While Behrs and Gladis are set to start their new life together, a number of other celeb pairings are preparing to begin wedding planning themselves.
Following a whirlwind romance, Ariana Grande and comedian Pete Davidson became engaged after only a few weeks of dating in June 2018. Shortly after, fellow pop star Justin Bieber's own fast-paced romance with his on-and-off girlfriend, model Hailey Baldwin, made headlines for the same reason. After rekindling their romance in June, the two confirmed their engagement on social media in early July.
Unfortunately, both couples have received criticism following their quick engagements, prompting the "No Tears left To Cry" singer to speak out on social media. "You do realize we are human beings who love and have lives ...... right .... ?" Grande wrote in response to a fan in a since-deleted tweet, adding, "Love is lit. S**t happens. I hope to God it happens to you too. [You] deserve it."
Meanwhile, singer Katharine McPhee and David Foster first announced their engagement earlier this month, after the music producer proposed to his long-rumored girlfriend while vacationing in Capri. The couple had only just confirmed their relationship in May while attending the Met Gala. Over the weekend, the American Idol alum shared a snapshot of herself showing off her new engagement ring while paying tribute to her father following his recent passing. "My love wisely said to me the other day that 'death is the only thing that is 100 percent inevitable and the thing we are least prepared for,'" McPhee wrote in part to her fans. "So today we're celebrating life and not forgetting love. ❤️."
