Jana Kramer Reveals Sex Of Second Child

Jana Kramer just shared some exciting pregnancy news!

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, published on Monday, July 23, 2018, the former Dancing with the Stars competitor announced that she and husband Mike Caussin are expecting a baby boy.

"I was convinced it was a girl," she told the magazine, revealing that the married pair recently celebrated their gender reveal party in Los Angeles. "Like, absolutely convinced with how sick I've been and the cravings I've had. I was like, 'OK, I'm definitely having another girl.' And I kind of secretly wanted a girl because I never had a sister, so I always wanted to know what that was like."

But that's not to say that the couple, who are already proud parents to 2-year-old daughter Jolie, aren't thrilled by the news. Explaining that one of her friends had filled a piñata with blue confetti for the big reveal, Kramer said, "When we hit it, we were like, 'Oh!' Like, we were shocked. It was a really nice actual surprise."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Kramer, 34, first revealed that she and Caussin, 31, were expecting their second child together in late June 2018. "Surprise! We have a rainbow baby on the way and couldn't be more excited!" she wrote on Instagram at the time, captioning a sweet snapshot of the family of three. "Jolie is going to be a big sister & we're becoming a family of 4!"

With their little bundle of joy expected to arrive in November, Kramer admitted during a recent episode of her podcast, Whine Down With Jana Kramer, that it'd been "a tough journey" for couple. The former One Tree Hill star, who had undergone IVF treatments, first revealed in December 2017 that she'd sadly suffered two miscarriages. Calling the losses a "silent struggle" on social media at the time, the multi-talent shared, "I don't want I'm sorry or sympathy. I just don't want to feel alone. And I know I'm not."

Just prior to opening up about her pregnancy struggles, Kramer and Caussin's two-year marriage had been shrouded in scandal. The couple made headlines late last year after reconciling their relationship following the former football pro's reported infidelity and stint in rehab. During her recent interview, Kramer told Us Weekly that her pregnancy with their son will serve as a "redo" for her husband, who has been "really present" this time around. She added, "He's really excited about having another baby."

A number of other celeb pairings have also announced exciting baby news this summer, including Jersey Shore's Deena Cortese, who is expecting her first child, a baby boy, with husband Chris Buckner in December 2018. Meanwhile, Jason Aldean and wife Brittany Kerr are expecting baby no. 2. The couple welcomed their first child together, son Memphis, just seven months ago.
