Khloe Kardashian Is 'Working Through Couples Therapy' With Tristan Thompson
Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are moving forward from the basketball pro's cheating scandal.
During her Monday, July 16, 2018, appearance on KIIS FM's Celeb HQ, Lisa Stanley, who is a close friend of the reality TV star's momager, Kris Jenner, revealed that the two are "one thousand percent...working through couples therapy."
While noting that you "can't just earn trust back in two months," Stanley added that Kardashian, 34, and Thompson, 27, have been "working hard" on their relationship during that time.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, the Cleveland Cavaliers star was first caught allegedly cheating on his then-pregnant girlfriend with multiple women just days before she gave birth to their first child, daughter True, in mid-April 2018. In the following weeks, multiple other infidelity reports surfaced.
After the allegations broke, the couple stayed together. However, they opted to keep a relatively low profile in the following months as the proud parents focused on their baby girl. Following the family-of-three's move back home to Los Angeles from Cleveland, Ohio last month, Kardashian publicly broke her silence on the headline-making ordeal.
"Not exactly Queen Persia, you have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist," the Revenge Body star, who recently revealed her 33-pound postpartum weight loss results, wrote on Twitter in late June. The tweet in question was in response to a fan who had expressed their disappointment in Kardashian's decision to stay, while calling her a "hypocrite." The new mom added, "I'm proud of my strength. I appreciate your opinion and I hope you hold that same opinion to everyone else who has stayed in situations."
While Kardashian and Thompson have, for the most part, privately navigated their high-profile relationship, the scandal itself will reportedly be covered on the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which is set to premiere sometime this summer.
