Did Buying Beverly Hills Stars Alexia Umansky And Joey Ben-Zvi Date?

As if we couldn't get enough real estate shows, Netflix added one more to the mix. "Buying Beverly Hills" was released in 2022 and featured a brand new batch of real estate agents ready to take on the high-rollers of Beverly Hills, CA. However, there were a couple of familiar faces, including Alexia Umansky. Umansky is no stranger to television as she is the daughter of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, Kyle Richards, per Marie Claire. However, her focus on "Buying Beverly Hills" is much different than "RHOB" because she's trying to prove her worth as a new agent.

Umansky detailed this sentiment to PopSugar as she shared her experience embarking into the world of real estate. She said, "We had to discuss a lot of the things I did right and wrong as a team [as well], almost like a magnifying glass ... It was definitely emotional for me in a lot of ways, but I have become, I would like to think, a much better agent now because of it." However, avid viewers of shows involving real estate know it's not just about selling houses. Drama and romance between agents also play a role in the success of these shows, and Umansky found herself at the center of it.

It was clear from the first episode that Umansky and fellow agent, Joey Ben-Zvi, had some intense chemistry with each other. Many speculated the two had a romantic connection with one another, and they weren't wrong.

Alexia and Joey had a fling

From friends to romance to coworkers, Alexia Umansky and Joey Ben-Zvi have had quite an interesting relationship. When "Buying Beverly Hills" aired on Netflix in 2022, it was obvious the two real estate agents had a spark.

According to The Cinemaholic, the two became friends back in middle school. However, it wasn't until they began their professional journey that they had a brief fling. Their romance ended after they realized they wanted to further their professional careers. And it also didn't help to know Umansky was the boss's daughter at the agency. Ben-Zvi even shared in one episode that he "for sure had feelings for Alexia. But I work with her, her father, and her sister, so I always knew it was not an option. If work weren't in the picture, maybe."

Ben-Zvi has been more open about his and Umansky's past relationship ... maybe too much. According to Us Weekly, the real estate agent admitted on the show to having a makeout session in the back of Umanksy's father's car, and she had something to say about it. Umansky said, "It's not your everyday situation where you kind of make out with your high school friend, and then you talk about it three years later on TV while you have a boyfriend and your dad and your sister and all your colleagues are involved. That's a little bit of a weird situation." The two have a close friendship, but that's all it will ever be.

Alexia Umansky has a boyfriend of three years

It may shock "Buying Beverly Hills" fans, but Alexia Umansky has had a boyfriend for the past three years, per US Weekly. Watching the show you would never know. In Season One he was never highlighted. Not just that, but Umanksy's relationship with Joey Ben-Zvi had fans convinced they were in a relationship...but that's not the case. So, who's Umansky's secret new beau? Well, his name is Jake Zingerman, and honestly, he has some of Ben-Zvi's qualities. So, Umanksy may have a type.

According to US Weekly, Zingerman and Umansky have been together since 2020, so it's no surprise he has her family's seal of approval. Her father, Mauricio, shared, "Alexia's got a boyfriend that's been around for a long, long time. He's awesome. We love him." The couple remains happily in love, and Zingerman was even there to support his girlfriend when the show officially premiered. He shared on Instagram, "Proud is an understatement. It makes me beyond happy to see all the positive feedback you've gotten over these past few days. You deserve that and MORE..."

As for Ben-Zvi, he and Umansky still have a great relationship. He told Metro, "I'm super grateful that, with everything in our past, we remain the best of friends and have a very good relationship." So, it looks like everyone has moved on, and we'll have to wait for season 2 to catch up on all things Umansky, Ben-Zvi, and now Zingerman.
