Queer Eye's Fab Five Address Ariana Grande, Pete Davidson's Engagement
Queer Eye's Fab Five are chiming in on the latest celebrity gossip.
During their appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, June 24, 2018, the stars of the Netflix series, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, and Jonathan Van Ness, addressed Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's quick engagement.
"I'm very, very happy for them. I couldn't be more happy," France, who gave the Saturday Night Live star a wardrobe makeover in March, said. "I think if anybody finds love that's amazing. I will always support that."
He went on to speak from his own experience, saying, "I told my husband five days into it that I would marry him and he said the same and we're together ten years later, so who knows." Meanwhile, Porowski added, "Sometimes you just know."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Grande and Davidson, both 24, were rumored to have gotten engaged earlier this month, following only a few weeks of dating. The comedian confirmed the couple's head-turning relationship status last week. Of their whirlwind romance, he told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, "I feel like I won a contest. So sick."
But the couple's impending wedding isn't the only one on the Fab Five's minds, as Brown himself recently proposed to his longtime partner, director Ian Jordan. With his co-stars-turned-BFFs present, the show's culture expert popped the question during a surprise 40th birthday party thrown for his soon-to-be husband.
"You are the funniest man I know, the kindest man, my biggest cheerleader. You made me feel like I could do anything," Brown said, while getting down on one knee (via Entertainment Tonight). He later shared on Instagram, "Last night, in front of family & friends, I asked my best friend and the love of my life, 'will you marry me?' He said YESSS!!!! I'm engaged!"
