DWTS Pros Val Chmerkovskiy And Jenna Johnson Are Engaged

Dancing With the Stars' Valentin "Val" Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson are engaged to be married!

On Thursday, June 14, 2018, Johnson revealed to her over 74,000 Twitter followers that she and Chmerkovskiy got engaged while on vacation in Venice, Italy. She shared two photos capturing the moment Chmerkovskiy got down on one knee and proposed to her, writing, "#ENGAGED."

On Instagram, Johnson added a longer, more heartfelt message regarding her recent engagement. "I knew the moment I met you, you were the man of my dreams and I wanted to be with you forever," she wrote. "Thank you for making my fairytale come true today! Cannot believe I get to call you my FIANCÉ!!!!"

Chmerkovskiy posted the same photos on his own Twitter page, adding, "I can't wait to make you my wife," along with heart and crown emojis.

As noted by People magazine, Chmerkovskiy and Johnson have dated on and off since 2015, though they didn't really go public with their relationship until 2017. DWTS fans may remember when the two shared a sweet kiss on the season 25 finale of the show, following a performance by Kelsea Ballerini

Speaking to People, Chmerkovskiy, who is more than ready to start a family, gushed about his new fiancée. "My life has changed because of [her,]" he said. "And I find myself to be the best version of myself that I've ever been. She's awesome."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Chmerkovskiy's brother Maks and fellow DWTS star Peta Murgatroyd tied the knot in July 2017, after welcoming a baby boy they named Shai into the world the previous January.
