Timothée Chalamet's Dating History: From Flings To True Love
Hollywood's newest "it" boy is taking over and he's not slowing down. Since rising to the limelight for his role in 2018's "Call Me By Your Name," Timothée Chalamet has gone on to make a name for himself in Hollywood. In 2019, Chalamet became the youngest star in 80 years to be nominated in the best actor category at the Oscars. And thanks to his defined facial features and undeniable charm, this young actor has become a favorite not only with directors, but also among the ladies.
But, while he likely enjoys his status as a Hollywood heartthrob now, Chalamet was once scared of the concept of dating in his earliest celebrity days. "Date is very much a scary word because then that context has been established. You can always see people on early date behavior," he revealed in a 2018 interview with W Magazine. Scared or not, though, Chalamet believes love reigns supreme. When asked in a 2019 i-D interview what he believes the true essence of life to be, the "Dune" star replied, "That we're all only here for so long. Live and let live. Love deeply. Love openly. And know that the wise man knows he's ignorant but cultivates more understanding." Okay, wise one, we see you!
With this strong conviction, it's only expected that Chalamet's love life has become something of public interest. And now the big question remains: Who has Timothée Chalamet dated in the past?
A short-lived romance — and then a long-term girlfriend
Starting off Timothée Chalamet's relationship streak with celebrities was model Lourdes Leon, Madonna's daughter. Chalamet and Leon were both enrolled at the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan, during which they enjoyed a short-lived romance. But, while the exact timeline of their relationship is unknown, both Chalamet and Leon have nothing but fond memories of their time together. "I respect him a lot, we were a little item. My first boyfriend ... or anything," she told Vanity Fair. The "Dune" star on the other hand once recounted attending a party with Leon and her famous mother. "I usually don't talk about this stuff, but that was a good night," he confessed during an interview with Andy Cohen. But, while Leon was his first rodeo in the celebrity dating circle, she definitely wasn't the last.
In October 2018, Chalamet started dating Lily-Rose Depp, having reportedly first met while filming the epic flick "The King," per Glamour. Though the pair managed to steer clear of any drama during their time together, Depp and Chalamet once made headlines after a steamy make-out session caught by the paparazzi was released. "I went to bed that night thinking that was one of the best days of my life," he told GQ of the kiss. Sadly, after nearly two years together, Chalamet and Depp called it quits.
Timothée Chalamet has been linked to a few more celebrities
In addition to Lourdes Leon and Lily-Rose Depp, Timothée Chalamet has been linked to a few more women in the industry. In June 2020, Chalamet was pictured kissing "Bloodshot" star Eiza González during a trip to Cabo, Mexico. The romance, however, was short-lived with a source confirming in October 2020 that the two had gone their separate ways. "They weren't together for long, just that Cabo trip," the insider told E! News.
Most recently, Chalamet has been rumored to be dating "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Kylie Jenner. "Kylie has only hung out with Timothée a couple of times, so things aren't that serious. However, she's enjoying getting to know him better and is open to seeing where things go," a source told Us Weekly. "Things are very new so it's hard to tell, but so far she likes what she sees."
Prior to Jenner, the "Call Me By Your Name" star was also casually linked to Victoria's Secret model Sarah Talabi, with whom he reportedly shared a kiss at Coachella in 2022. "Everyone is asking me if I was kissing Timothée Chalamet at Coachella, and that is a good question," Talabi teased in an interview with Page Six. "But a great question would be asking our world leaders why the Earth is now losing 1.2 trillion tons of ice each year due to global warming and why climate crisis reform has been completely ineffective."
