Sons Of Anarchy's Alan O'Neill Dies At 47

Alan O'Neill, who played Hugh on Sons of Anarchy, has passed away.

TMZ reports that the Irish-born actor was found dead by his girlfriend in the hallway of her apartment on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. At the time of this writing, authorities reportedly do not suspect any foul play. According to the celebrity news site, an autopsy will be performed on O'Neill's body to determine the cause of his death.

He was just 47 years old.

O'Neill is likely best known for appearing in seasons six and seven of Sons of Anarchy. He also starred in the Irish TV drama Fair City as Keith McGrath.

O'Neill had allegedly battled alcohol and drug abuse issues throughout his life and had been a heavy smoker. He'd also reportedly had heart problems, as noted by TMZ.
