RHONJ: The Infidelity Rumors That Surrounded Jackie And Evan Goldschneider

Attorney turned freelance writer and mommy blogger Jackie Goldschneider first burst onto the Bravo scene in 2018. "I've been waiting forever for this moment... I am so excited to finally tell the world that I'm the new REAL HOUSEWIFE OF NEW JERSEY!!!" she penned in a revelatory Instagram post along with a group photo of the cast.

As soon as Season 9 began airing, viewers quickly learned more about Jackie, her four kids — comprised of not one, but TWO sets of twins — and her hunk of a hubby, Evan Goldschneider! "To use a grandma term, we were 'smitten,'" Jackie told Bravo's The Daily Dish about the early days of the couple's courtship. "I'm still [smitten] — I'm so lucky because I really am still so in love with my husband. Every day, I get butterflies. I really do," she gushed.

Alas, things haven't always been rainbows and sunshine for the couple -—especially during Season 11, when nasty infidelity rumors started swirling around their marriage...

Jackie and Evan Goldschneider were blindsided at a birthday party they hosted

Imagine hosting a beautiful birthday party for your husband and the father of your four children, only for a guest to arrive and promptly start telling other party-goers that she heard a rumor your husband "screws around" at the gym with other women. Welp, that's precisely what happened to Jackie Goldschneider during "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 11 premiere. Talk about hitting the ground running!

But who would do such a thing, you ask? None other than "RHONJ" OG Teresa Giudice, of course! Giudice, however, was adamant that she wasn't trying to be malicious when she shared the information at Evan Goldschneider's birthday bash. "I just wanted her to know. I didn't ruin the birthday party. I just wanted her to know to stand up for herself and defend herself so the rumor would stop," Giudice later told Entertainment Tonight

Obviously Jackie felt differently. "Evan is the best guy in the world," she chastised Giudice in a later episode. "This weekend, you took his name and what's most important to him in the world — being a great husband and father — and you s*** all over it. And you did it to all of our friends at his birthday party." But was there any validity to the supposed rumors Giudice was peddling? Here's what we know...

Jackie Goldschneider declared the infidelity rumors to be 'nonsense'

Jackie Goldschneider was NOT buying the infidelity rumors about her husband, Evan Goldschneider.

"There is not even a thought in my head — not even for a second did I worry about whether or not this was true. It was nonsense," Jackie told PeopleTV's "Reality Check." Still, she didn't deny that it did cause some tension in the couple's marriage. "I'm a cast member on this show; he is not. So to have his life suddenly be the center and have his reputation [involved was an issue]," she explained. But that's not all. Sadly, the rumor also affected the couple's four children. "We did have to tell them about all that was happening," she revealed to Us Weekly in October 2021.

"My daughter, of all the kids, did not understand that even though all this was going on, we were really OK," Jackie divulged. "She was really scared that something was going to happen, we were going to get divorced and her family was going to fall apart. There were tears." Fortunately, it appears the family weathered the storm. "Evan and I are a really strong couple and we love each other so much and that love can be tested, but it's not going to be broken," she declared.
