Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Spotted For First Time After Royal Wedding

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are all smiles following their royal wedding.

On Monday, May 21, 2018, the newlyweds were spotted out and about in public for the first time since tying the knot over the weekend.

According to The Sun, the newly titled Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed as they arrived at Kensington Palace in the prince's blue Land Rover. He drove the couple, who were both smiling big and sporting sunglasses, onto the palace grounds as they returned to Nottingham Cottage, their new home.

The first official photos from their wedding day, taken by Alexi Lubomirski at Windsor Castle, were also released around the time of Prince Harry and Markle's public sighting.

Following their nuptials, the married pair released a statement of gratitude via Kensington Palace. "The Duke and Duchess would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their Wedding," their statement read. "They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and those who watched on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Prince Harry, 33, and Markle, 36, married this weekend in a beautiful ceremony at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. "You look amazing. Absolutely gorgeous," the prince told his bride as she met him at the alter. "I'm so lucky." The royal couple, who announced their engagement last November, have been together since the fall of 2016.
