Offset Hospitalized Following Car Crash
Migos rapper Offset has been transported to the hospital after being involved in a car accident.
TMZ reports that Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was hospitalized after getting into a car crash in Atlanta, Ga. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. The gossip rag noted that Offset's green Dodge Challenger was totaled and was towed away following the incident. Fortunately, however, Offset reportedly only suffered minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
Offset's fiancé, Cardi B, who is pregnant with their first child together, is said to have rushed to her beau's side after the accident.
According to TMZ, no other parties are suspected to have been involved in Offset's crash, as neither the police nor EMTs were called to the scene and no police report was ever filed.
Offset has made headlines in recent weeks, most notably for his alleged involvement in the beating of a man who wanted an autograph from Cardi B after the 2018 Met Gala. As Nicki Swift previously reported, Offset was allegedly upset about how the man had asked Cardi B for her autograph and ordered members of his entourage to "go after" him. Though responding police officers reportedly found "no visible signs of trauma," the man was transported to a hospital and an investigation was launched.
"I don't know what are people's intentions sooo i Be careful," Cardi B wrote in a since-deleted tweet after the altercation. "Why can't people respect that?"
