RHONJ: What Gia Giudice Will Do For A Living After College
Following her college graduation, Gia Giudice will pursue a career inspired by her family. The oldest daughter of reality TV stars Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice first appeared on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 1 back in 2009, and over the years Gia has dabbled in various creative interests. This includes modeling for Stila Cosmetics, walking down fashion runways, and performing in her past girl group, 3KT.
By 2021, Gia was preparing to enter her junior year at Rutgers University. At this time, she and Teresa were interviewed by People, and it was revealed that Gia's passion had turned toward criminal justice, her major at the East Coast school. Additionally, Teresa shared advice she'd given Gia amid her college journey. "Study hard ... Get involved. Make it the best experience you can," Teresa said. "Do the right thing. This is your future. You have one life to live. You want it to be the best version it can be." Now, it's been announced what path Gia will take as she wraps up her final year in college.
Gia Giudice scored an internship in immigration law
Gia Giudice is ready to take on a new professional role following studying criminal justice at Rutgers University. On January 30, immigration attorney Kathleen Martinez announced via her Instagram page that the reality star would be joining her team. Martinez wrote, "We are so excited to welcome @_giagiudice to the firm!! Welcome to @attorneymartinez / Martinez Immigration firm, Gia!" Bravo reported that this will be an internship position, and Gia said in a video that she'll soon be "pursuing [her] dream on going to law school."
Gia then told Page Six in February 2023 that a "goal" of hers is to reexamine the deportation case of her father, Joe Giudice. After serving a prison term for fraud charges, Joe was deported to his native Italy in 2019. He is currently living in the Bahamas. Gia said to Page Six that her father is not "a flight risk" and not "a threat to society," so she hopes his situation can change. "I just feel like that if that whole aspect of it can get reevaluated, that maybe he could have a chance of coming back temporarily here and there," Gia added. She went on to state that the firm has been "interested in possibly, potentially looking at [Joe's] case again" to offer help at some point down the road. As she is entering this next stage in her life, Gia's family is showing their support.
Gia Giudice's family is 'super proud' of her accomplishments
Gia Giudice is getting ready to take an exciting step in her professional journey, and her loved ones are sticking by her side. When attorney Kathleen Martinez shared on Instagram in January 2023 that Gia would soon be working at her firm, Gia's stepfather and husband to her mom, Teresa Giudice, Luis Ruelas, sent words of encouragement Gia's way. "Congratulations!! You look amazing! Super proud of you!" Ruelas commented, along with a red heart emoji.
In addition, Gia alluded to the end of her college days in a March 2023 Instagram post, which showed pictures of her with two of her sorority sisters from Zeta Tau Alpha. Gia wrote, "the end is near," and Teresa responded with a blue heart emoji and the message, "It sure is." Furthermore, Teresa celebrated her first-born daughter earlier in the year for a birthday tribute. In January 2023, Teresa posted a photo of herself and Gia posing beside Gia's birthday cake on Instagram. "Happy 22nd Birthday @_giagiudice you are beautiful inside and out love and adore you with all my heart," Teresa wrote. Back in November 2022, Gia's father, Joe Giudice, also posted an image of himself and Gia spending time together on social media with the sweet message, "Love my girls."
