Who Is RHOM Star Marysol Patton's Husband, Steve McNamara?

When "The Real Housewives of Miami" returned after an eight-year hiatus, fans saw OG Marysol Patton with her new man, Steve McNamara. During Season 1, Patton was with her younger boyfriend, Philippe Pautesta-Herder. In an episode, the French native surprised Patton with a huge engagement ring while they were at dinner. The "RHOM" star was visibly stunned and accepted his proposal. Just a few days later, the couple got married against a snowy backdrop in Aspen, Colorado. In 2012, Patton and Pautesta-Herder decided to call it quits and divorced. Patton blamed her busy work schedule running her public relations firm as part of the reason their marriage didn't work. However, the two remained amicable and she still considers her ex-husband as "family."

Patton found love again with McNamara in 2020. Although she puts her life on blast as a reality television star, Patton kept her relationship with McNamara pretty low-key. In April 2021, they got married in a quiet ceremony in Tulum, Mexico. According to her Bravo profile, Patton is now retired and has much more time to dote on her new husband, who is pretty successful in his own right.

Steve McNamara has construction in his blood. As the current president of Anzac Contractors, he learned the ins and outs of the business through his father, Russ, who created the family business in 1971. McNamara graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with a degree in Business Administration and Management. He then joined Anzac and eventually became the President of the company in 2007. McNamara's company primarily focuses on heavy bridge construction, although Anzac also has extensive experience building highways and sewer plants.

McNamara works alongside his sister, Vivien Baltodano, who works as a Controller at Anzac, and he also has a family of his own. He's the proud father of two boys, Garrett and Hunter, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Tara McNamara. On the topic of married life, Marysol Patton told Bravo's Daily Dish, "I just want to make sure that he stays healthy and I stay healthy so we can keep continuing to be together and enjoy each other's company."

After her beloved mother Mama Elsa died in 2019, Marysol Patton wanted to honor her during her wedding with Steve McNamara. Patton and McNamara chose to have a traditional Mayan ceremony while they were in Tulum, Mexico, complete with shaman-led rituals. "It was the basis of her mom's spiritual-religious roots. She felt her mom's influence guided her to have this kind of ceremony — Elsa is still in charge!" a source told Page Six.

McNamara keeps his life fairly private, but doesn't shy away from Patton's public life. While she keeps pictures of the two of them minimal on her Instagram, she shares special moments with her new hubby. After their wedding ceremony, the "RHOM" star posted a sweet reel of her and McNamara sharing their first kiss as a married couple. "Just Married @stevemcnamara_Happy Birthday My Love," she wrote. The happy couple also enjoyed a double date with Patton's "RHOM" bestie, Alexia Echevarria, and her husband Todd Nepola in New York City. "MIA in the NYC ... hottest hubbies in tow #besties," Patton captioned, sharing pics of the foursome. After being unlucky in love for a long time, Patton has finally found her forever partner.
