Celebs Who Shamelessly Flirted With Michael B. Jordan
Michael B. Jordan is known to make the ladies swoon, and he's been considered one of Hollywood's most desired bachelors since splitting with model Lori Harvey in 2022. Whenever he's on a talk show, for example, the crowd screams uncontrollably. Plus, his social media followers leave a lot of steamy messages when he posts a pic of himself. And of course, people flirt with the actor online and it's safe to say they do the same whenever seeing him in public.
But trust us, everyday folks aren't the only people to shoot their shot at Jordan, his fellow celebrities do it as well. It's happened on talk shows and some have shown their interest in him during an award ceremony. Basically, there isn't a shortage of female celebs throwing themselves at Jordan. Either that happens, or they speak of his looks and let him know just what they're thinking. So, this list will show who those people are and detail what they said to Jordan or wrote about him on social media.
Chrissy Teigen couldn't hide her attraction
Chrissy Teigen didn't let a little thing called marriage stop her from flirting with Michael B. Jordan when they were both on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2018. It could be said the model and TV host, who's married to singer John Legend, began flirting with Jordan when she commented on how good he smelled. From there, Teigen went on to say there were a lot of jealous people backstage because they weren't sitting with the "Creed" star like she was. And her flirtation didn't end there.
She then asked the actor if he ever hooked up with a fan through a direct social media message, which he admitted to doing. The "Lip Sync Battle" co-host said it was a question that she just had to ask, and DeGeneres called her out for it. "For other people, not you," the comedian told her, probably sensing that Teigen might've been asking the question to satisfy her own curiosity, not asking for her assistant like she claimed. A shirtless photo of Jordan appeared on a screen a bit later, which Teigen had a pretty strong reaction to.
Phoebe Robinson was told to shoot her shot
Comedian Phoebe Robinson used a red carpet-appearance to flirt with Michael B. Jordan. It was in 2022 at the premiere of her Freeform show "Everything's Trash." The event came on the heels of his breakup with Lori Harvey, which was major news in the entertainment world then. Plus, Robinson let it be known that her friends encouraged her to go after Jordan after he and Harvey split but she had no way of contacting him. "Michael B. Jordan, listen, I know you're available," she said while speaking to the New York Post. "[I don't have your phone number] so I'm doing it here, Michael."
Now, Robinson expressing her interest in Jordan doesn't come out of the clear blue, because she flirted with him on Instagram before that red carpet moment. The "2 Dope Queens" star talked about the exchange during an interview on "The Real" and said she's been trying to contact him on social media for years. Robinson said she finally got his attention after making a joke about him not being shirtless on the cover of People's magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue. The actor responded and bantered with Robinson, which almost made her pass out, she explained.
Nicki Minaj flirted from the stage
Oftentimes in rap music, rappers are direct and to the point when delivering a line or verse and it's an approach that Nicki Minaj used when she flirted with Michael B. Jordan at the People's Choice Awards. The New York rapper won an award for top Female Artist of 2018 at the time, and during her acceptance speech, she thanked Donatella Versace for making her dress. But she also had a few words for Jordan. "And shout-out to Michael B. Jordan 'cause he's gonna be taking it off of me tonight," said Minaj, talking about the dress. She also winked and stuck her tongue out for good measure.
Later, the "Starships" writer spoke about flirting with Jordan during an E! News interview, explaining that she doesn't really know him, she was just inspired after watching him onscreen. "I think he introduced himself to me one time, I believe at the Met Gala," Minaj said about the Hollywood bachelor. "I was watching 'Black Panther' last night, so he was just ... happened to be fresh in my mind."
But it could be said Minaj made the onstage comment because she was truly attracted to Jordan and used "Black Panther" as an excuse. These days, however, she'd probably stay away from flirting with others in public since her husband Kenneth Petty, who she married the following year, probably wouldn't like it much.
SNL joked about the actor being a heartthrob
Clearly, the "SNL" writers creating a skit about women flirting with Michael B. Jordan, shows just how much it happens in real life. The bit was seen in 2023 when he hosted "SNL" and cast member Chloe Fineman brought up his break up with Lori Harvey. "I know you're single but did you know that I'm single," she said in character. After that, Jordan asked her if she was still in a relationship. "Not if you're available," Fineman answered, before giving him a sniff. "Can you remind me how to spell your number?"
Heidi Gardner appeared next and she told Jordan about having a "Creed" poster in her bedroom, on her wall, on her ceiling, and on a body pillow. Then Ego Nwodim came onstage dressed in a wedding gown and said she was just walking around the studio and had no idea he was there. "I guess we can technically get married right now, huh?" she asked him.
Punkie Johnson continued the gag from there and explained why she wanted to date the seemingly in-demand actor. "Aren't you gay," Jordan asked her. "I am," said Johnson. "But you Michael B. Jordan and I'm Punkie be curious. I mean, even vegans got cheat days, right?"
Lupita Nyong'o got flirty at least twice
Lupita Nyong'o was accused of flirting with Michael B. Jordan on two different occasions. The first time he decided to join in on the seductive back-and-forth, and a lot of people lost it online. It all went down in 2018 after Nyong'o revealed in a video that Jordan lost a bet to her, so he had to do pushups whenever she said. Jordan then tweeted, "Bring them chocolate cakes back. You ready for round 2?" Before deleting it. "No dessert until you come correct," Nyong'o replied.
To add, both used the hashtag "#youknowyouwantthis" in their post, which only added more fire to their steamy messages. But Jordan later revealed the flirtation had to do with an MTV show called "Safeword" where "celebrity friends become frenemies all for a good laugh," as MTV explains it.
Nyong'o's second flirtatious comment came in 2019 after Jordan appeared in an ad for Veuve Clicquot champagne house. He was dressed rather spiffy at the time and it caught Nyong'o's attention. "Now you're just showing off!," she wrote in a now-deleted message shared by Hollywood Life. Plus, notice the heart-face and kissing emojis. And based on all of the social media reactions, it's clear the actors' fans wanted them to be a couple but they've been disappointed so far.
Michelle Young said she'd ignore her mom's advice
Maybe a funny TikTok video would get Michael B. Jordan's attention. That could be what Michelle Young, formerly of "The Bachelorette," thought when revealing that she has the hots for him. In early 2023, and just a handful of days after Jordan's ex Lori Harvey and actor Damson Idris went public with their relationship, Young joined the "Hotel Lobby" TikTok challenge. She did it by posting a photo of herself as well as a caption. "My mom: 'Never go into a stranger's car!" was written next to the pic.
Then a photo of Jordan appeared with the words "Get in," as if the "Fruitvale Station" star was inviting Young to go on a little joyride with him. Next, a person is seen leaping backward into a vehicle, which undoubtedly is Young's way of saying, if Jordan pulled up next to her, she'd ignore her mom's advice in a heartbeat. Many probably chuckled at the video but it seemed like more people wanted Young and Jordan to be an item.
"But wait... y'all would actually look phenomenal together!! I'm here for it!," one person wrote under the TikTok video. "This would be a power couple," another person stated. Others, meanwhile, said they highly agreed with Young about hopping into a car with Jordan and wouldn't think twice about it. "He wouldn't even have to tell me to get in he'd just have to give me the look," someone wrote.
Megan Thee Stallion went with a subtle rap line
Megan Thee Stallion often impresses people when she posts videos of herself rapping. Like in 2022 when she freestyled on the L.A. Leakers radio show and got a big response. Or a few years before that when she delivered an impromptu rap verse in a parking lot right after the American Music Awards. But there was one particular freestyle that really got people's attention, but it wasn't because of Megan's impressive rap skills. The year was 2020 and she delivered a verse as part of her "Megan Monday's" Instagram series.
In one part, Megan says she's not interested in having the title of girlfriend, but she'd be willing to hit the dating scene for Michael B. Jordan. At least that's what people surmised after hearing her verse since she didn't say his last name. "If I do date, it'll be Michael," Megan raps.
Jordan didn't respond publicly to the line but he did react to a video the rapper posted that same year. That clip, which was removed and shared by The Shade Room, shows her twerking in a bikini with other women. Jordan responded by posting a clenched teeth emoji, showing he was either shocked, pleased, or both. Megan then responded to him by posting an emoji that's used to show humbleness or shyness. Yes, the flirtation between the two celebs was subtle, but it still flooded social media with all types of comments and reactions.
Cheryl and Michael B. Jordan gave each other googly eyes
The English singer Cheryl was accused of being interested in Michael B. Jordan when they were both on "The Graham Norton Show" in 2018. It wasn't just her, though, Jordan was also accused of flirting back. But no steamy words were exchanged between the two, it was all in a look they gave each other. Plus, one time after Jordan spoke, Cheryl glanced at the camera, seeming to say she was attracted to him.
Some viewers said the two had a lot of sexual tension between them, which seemed to be confirmed when the "Messy Little Raindrops" singer was asked if any hanky-panky has gone down since they were on "The Graham Norton Show." "I promise you nothing's happening. That's a pinkie promise...yet," Cheryl stated. But that wasn't the end of her flirting with the New Jersey-raised actor in an interview. She did it in 2019 during a chat with Glamour after being asked who'd she'd like to dance salsa with. "Michael B Jordan... I'd rather Rumba. And I don't think I need to elaborate on that," said Cheryl.
Tiffany Haddish suddenly grew a baby bump
The stage seems to be as good of a place as any for celebs to come on to Michael B. Jordan, which Nicki Minaj proved at the 2018 People's Choice Awards. Tiffany Haddish showed it as well when she hosted the MTV Movie & TV Awards that same year. Jordan was in the audience at the time and the comedian zeroed in on him. "Is that you Michael B. Jordan? You fine as hell," Haddish told him. "You so sexy you can probably look a girl right in her eyes and get her pregnant right there on eyesight. Look into my eyes, Michael. Look into my eyes."
Then out of nowhere, Haddish's belly grew and she suddenly had a baby bump, and the crowd howled with laughter. But since the funny woman was being comedic, it wasn't truly known if she was interested in Jordan romantically. That answer was revealed, however, when Haddish spoke to Buzzfeed in 2018 and said that he was one of her celebrity crushes. The other was Trevor Noah but things didn't work out.
"When I met them I asked them on a date, I asked if I can cook for them, asked if I can rub on their bodies. They all turned me down." Don't worry, Tiff, there are probably a slew of celebs and everyday dudes who would give up sleep to take you out.
The View hosts spoke of Michael B. Jordan's looks
When Michael B. Jordan stopped by "The View" to plug his film "A Journal for Jordan" in 2021, the audience screamed so loud that co-host Whoopi Goldberg had to address it. "Ok, y'all, hold on," she said. "None of you are going home with him, so just calm down and feast your eyes and let us do this interview." Seconds later, Joy Behar commented on Jordan's looks, calling him a gorgeous guy, as well as fine. On top of that, one could say that co-host Sunny Hostin acted like she was smitten with the actor, appearing to be a little giddy while talking to him about "A Journal for Jordan."
The much-talked-about-movie star has appeared on "The View" several times over the years, one of those visits being in 2018 when he talked about "Black Panther." At one point during the discussion, Hostin commented on his physique.
"You're gifted in other ways. Your body is insane," she told Jordan after he admitted to not having any musical talent. (5:35 mark). Guest host Catt Sadler also got into the fun and brought up the actor's arms. "Do you have trouble slipping into your sweaters?" she asked him. "It's so tight in the sleeves. 'Cause I'm looking at your biceps, I'm really trying to pay attention to what you're saying. But I'm just, like, are you kidding me!"
