Lisa Vanderpump's Brother Dies In Suspected Overdose

Lisa Vanderpump's older brother, Mark, has sadly passed away.

On Saturday, May 12, 2018, the Daily Mail reported that the Vanderpump Rules star's brother, who worked as a DJ, was found dead at his home in Gloucestershire, England on Monday, April 30. He was 59, and he is survived by two sons.

According to the media outlet, his cause of death is suspected to be a drug overdose. At the time of this writing, it is not known whether the overdose was accidental or intentional.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who has been silent on social media following her brother's death, has since confirmed his passing. "This has come as a shock to us all," she released in a statement to the Daily Mail. "My brother and I had connected the day before this tragedy and I was completely unprepared for this."

The 57-year-old's statement continued, "He was my only sibling and I am shocked and saddened by his passing. I am trying to be supportive to his two young sons that he has left behind, and help them get through this tragedy. We appreciate your consideration in this private and extremely difficult family time."

According to the publication's sources, Lisa will be traveling to England to attend her brother's funeral.
