Millie Bobby Brown's Siblings: She Isn't The Only Successful One In The Family
Millie Bobby Brown is one of the hottest names in Hollywood, and for her, fame came at a pretty young age. Brown got her big break from the Netflix hit "Stranger Things," which began airing in 2016. Believe it or not, she was only 11 years old when she first started filming the series, which is ironic because of her character's name. The series has proven to be one of the most popular franchises on the streaming platform, and the first year it aired (and to this day), many people have dressed up like Brown's character Eleven from the show.
The British actor has spoken about her rise to fame on several occasions, but at the end of the day — she's just like us. In an interview with Vogue, Brown revealed that she lives a quiet life in Georgia with her family, away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. "I think living in Georgia, in literally the cowboy farmland where I live, I love it so much, because it's just so chill there, and nobody recognizes me," she told the outlet. "Everybody's old, and seriously nobody has Netflix there." Though the "Enola Holmes" star notes that it's fun to go to Los Angeles for awards shows, she loves her life in Georgia with her family, which includes her siblings.
Millie has three siblings — an older sister, Paige Brown, an older brother, Charlie Brown, and one younger sister, Ava Brown. And as it turns out, Millie isn't the only successful person in her family.
Millie Bobby Brown's sister Paige Brown has also dabbled in acting
While she may be the most well-known member of her family, Millie Bobby Brown isn't the only one with acting credits to her name. Millie's big sister, Paige Brown, is also an actor who has starred in a few roles in her career. Paige isn't as successful as her little sister, but she still broke into the Hollywood bubble. She has played several roles over the years, starting in 2006, when she appeared in "Help Me Help You." Paige also starred in "South Dakota" in 2017, and played a small role in the popular TV series "Victorious" in 2010.
In 2020, Millie told Who What Wear that she and her sister Paige had big plans in store, but behind the camera. The two sisters wrote a script for a movie titled "A Time Lost," which details a close friend of theirs and her experience with cancer. The two revealed that the story was so "special" to them. Decider reports that Netflix will bring the movie to life, but as of 2019, they hadn't done any casting yet. Still, the Brown sisters released a statement on the project, and it's easy to see that it's important to them. "We are so grateful to Netflix for their confidence in us and this beautiful story, which we have spent years writing and developing," they said in a statement, calling the movie a "labor of love" (via Decider).
Millie Bobby Brown and her siblings are super close
Millie Bobby Brown has a close relationship with her siblings and hasn't been shy about letting everyone know it. In an interview with Who What Wear, Millie enlisted the help of her brother, Charlie Brown, to take photos of her for the spread, making it a family affair. In the interview, she also spoke about how close she is to her siblings. "[My family] are my best friends," she told the outlet. "Those are the people I talk to every day, that I see every day, and who I love collaborating with because they know me and will be honest with me."
The 19-year-old also spoke about her siblings during an appearance on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," telling the host that "they all don't like it, being in show business." She even confessed that her sibs haven't watched "Stranger Things," and insists she likes that "they don't really care" about her celeb status, as perhaps it instills some sort of normalcy in her life.
However, Millie's siblings visited her on the set of "Enola Holmes," and she enjoyed having them there. "They are incredibly creative people. And to be able to be a part of that journey with them — it was the best love and support anyone could ever have," she said, per the Mirror. "To be able to turn and see my brother and to see my sister, they're ... incredible collaborators." How sweet!
