Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott Enjoy First 'Parents' Night Out' At 2018 Met Gala
Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Travis Scott enjoyed a night out on the town at the 2018 Met Gala.
On Monday, May 7, 2018, the couple hit the red carpet together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual fashion event in New York City, where they spoke with Vogue.
"Parents' night out," the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told the magazine, noting that the epic date night was actually the new parents' "first real party" ever since the two welcomed their first child together in early February.
At the event, both the reality TV star and her rapper beau were donned in black Alexander Wang attire. "We wanted to go with something more simple, edgy, young," Jenner, who wore a mermaid-inspired gown, explained. "So that's exactly what we did."
With their little girl at home for the night, the cute pair simply aimed to "have fun" with their friends and family at the gala, and hoped for the chance to recreate Jenner's annual celeb-filled bathroom selfie.
According to E! News, momager Kris Jenner and sisters Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian also attended the event.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Jenner, 20, recently opened up about what it's been like to adjust to motherhood with her three-month-old daughter, Stormi, during an interview with the Evening Standard.
"I feel like it's just been so amazing, and so much fun," she said. While the makeup mogul noted that she and Scott, 25, have "of course" faced the usual parenting difficulties, such as sleepless nights, she added, "I'm learning so much more about myself and life, and it's been such a great experience."
Just a few days after giving birth to her baby girl, Jenner, who was notoriously secretive about her pregnancy, took to social media to announce the exciting news. While detailing her pregnancy and birth experience, she shared, "I've never felt love and happiness like this I could burst!"
