2018 CMT Music Awards Nominations Revealed

The nominations for the 2018 CMT Music Awards are in!

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, the nominees for the country music award show were announced. Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, and Jason Aldean led the pack, each snagging four award nominations, including Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year, as reported by E! News. Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton, Lauren Alaina, and Thomas Rhett, however, followed closely behind, as they picked up three nominations each.

Unlike CMT Music Awards of years past, the 2018 award show will feature a few pop stars. Bebe Rexha is up for Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year for her song "Meant To Be," which featured country music duo Florida Georgia Line. Justin Timberlake is also up for the same two awards for his song "Say Something" with Chris Stapleton. Additionally, iconic pop group the Backstreet Boys have been nominated for CMT Performance of the Year for "Everybody," which they sang with Florida Georgia Line.

The 2018 CMT Music Awards will be hosted by Little Big Town and will air on June 6.
