Lewis Hamilton Once Sparked Dating Rumors With Kendall Jenner (But Were They True?)

In the past, many headlines have been written addressing Lewis Hamilton's dating life. Some women the race car driver has been previously linked to include Nicole Scherzinger, Rihanna, and Barbara Palvin, per The U.S. Sun. Hamilton shared a long-term relationship with Scherzinger; the couple revealed publicly that they were an item in 2007 and eventually split for good in 2015, as the Daily Mail reported. When he spoke to Vanity Fair in 2022, Hamilton revisited his former romances and said he had "learned the hard way" to keep his relationships private from the media.

Hamilton then said his focus since has been on finding contentment independent of any romantic relationships. "I really wanted to go through a growth process of getting myself to a point where I'm happy on my own, comfortable in my space," Hamilton said. "So that if I ever do meet someone, it's an addition, rather than 'I need you in my life.'" Over the years, he's been hit with gossip of dating celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield, but Hamilton cleared up this story in a 2007 interview with The Guardian. "I gave [Bedingfield] a hand to help her out of the car," Hamilton said. "I was just being a gentleman." Years later, Hamilton was thought to have been seeing a prominent reality TV star.

Lewis Hamilton and Kendall Jenner were 'just friends'

Lewis Hamilton and Kendall Jenner were once rumored to share a love connection. Back in 2015, the two were seen out and about together alongside Jenner's friend, Hailey Bieber, in New York. That same year, Hamilton and Jenner posed for a selfie with Bieber, Gigi Hadid, and Bella Hadid that was posted to Instagram by Gigi. The Formula One driver was asked about Jenner by E! News in September 2015, and he clarified that he and the TV personality and supermodel are only companions. "Me and Kendall have been friends for a while, so we're just friends," Hamilton said. He added, "[Jenner's] doing incredible, she's very focused, very level-headed, and she's just — for such a young woman, she's very grown up."

In addition, Hamilton's dating life came up when he stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2016. When Jenner's name was mentioned as someone he's "been with" by DeGeneres, Hamilton said in response, "Oh really?" Hamilton then shared that he was single and concentrated on his work. [7:07] "I was in a long relationship, I was in almost an eight-year relationship," Hamilton said. "Now I'm literally solely focused on my racing, trying to win this championship this year, which is definitely very trying." He concluded that he "[didn't] really have any plans" in regard to dating. In recent years, people have speculated that Hamilton may be seeing a different model.

Lewis Hamilton remains quiet on his dating life

Lewis Hamilton hasn't gone official with a significant other lately (as of this writing, at least), although a couple of relationship reports have emerged. In February 2022, a source told The U.S. Sun that Hamilton and model Camila Kendra's friendship "became more romantic," but this eventually "cooled off" and the pair are "no longer" together. Later, in January 2023, Sportskeeda wrote that fans had been wondering whether Hamilton was seeing model Juliana Nalu, who previously dated Kanye West. An arm that appeared to be Nalu's was seen cozying up to Hamilton in a video posted by snowboarder Shaun White. At the time, White and his girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, Hamilton, and the mystery woman were hot tubbing together in Antarctica. Hamilton was also photographed on a boat with Nalu during this trip, but it was never confirmed that they're more than friends.

For now, Hamilton remains dedicated to his purpose. In January 2023, he was a guest for the "On Purpose" podcast and discussed the eventual end of his racing career. Hamilton admitted it would be "really really hard" to walk away from the sport after 30 years of racing. "That emotion that I get there, when I do stop, there will be a big hole, so I am trying to generally focus on things, find things that are gonna replace that, that are also gonna be just as rewarding," Hamilton said. This includes Mission 44, an organization started by Hamilton that aids young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
