Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence are engaged!

On Thursday, May 3, 2018, the Dancing With the Stars pro took to Instagram to share that her longtime boyfriend, Boy Meets World's Matthew Lawrence, had proposed. Sharing a series of photos of herself with Lawrence — and of her shiny new engagement ring — Burke, who celebrated her 34th birthday that day, wrote, "OMG! So far so good for 34! 💍." She added the hashtags, "#amilliontimesyes #imengaged #herecomesthebride."

Burke and Lawrence first met in 2006 when the actor's brother Joey competed on the third season of DWTS. The two then dated for about a year before breaking up in 2008. However, Burke and Lawrence found their way back to each other, rekindling their romance in 2017 (via E! News).

In July 2017, a source told E! News that Burke and Lawrence's relationship was going strong. "Cheryl and Matthew are very serious. They are super happy and have been dating for over six months," the insider said. "They tried to keep their relationship on the down low for several months and were taking it very slow, but now they are extremely serious."

The same source added, "Cheryl thinks that 'second time's a charm' and she is more in love than ever and Matthew absolutely reciprocates the same feelings."
