American Pickers: The Scoop About Danielle Colby's Two Ex-Husbands

Among the many remarkable shows that the History Channel has offered fans through the years, "American Pickers" is arguably one of its most successful — and popular. The antique-flipping show — one of the few in the modern-day reality television era — follows the life of Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz who travel across America collecting and searching for items for their antique collection.

But while Wolfe and Fritz, who also has an eventful love life, are the frontmen of the show, cast member Danielle Colby has also become something of a fan favorite through the years, thanks in part to her close relationship with her co-stars. "You know, Danielle and I've known each other for 25 years, and she's always been this creative force," Wolfe gushed to Fox News in 2019. "She's one of those persons that if she has an idea and she has a passion for it, she's going to follow through with it. So when I see her doing something that she loves, it's really her best moments, because she's a very, very passionate person."

Outside of what she shows viewers on the show, however, Colby enjoys a satisfying personal life. At 47, the reality star has been married twice — first to Chad Cushman and then to Alexandre De Meyer, both of whom have maintained a low profile over the years. From their time with the reality star to their eventual split, here's what we know about Colby's two ex-husbands.

Danielle Colby shares two kids with her first husband

Long before "American Pickers" thrust her into the spotlight, Danielle Colby enjoyed a blissful relationship with Chad Cushman. While it is uncertain when the pair met, they welcomed their first child, Miles, in 1996. Four years later, Cushman and Colby welcomed their second child, Memphis in 2000. Finally, in 2004, the couple got married. Sadly, despite their long history, Colby and Cushman were unable to make their marriage work. The reason? Colby reportedly had a hard time coping with his wife's newfound fame. And so in 2012, they divorced. One failed marriage however was not enough to deter Colby from the path of love.

In 2015, three years after her divorce from Cushman, Colby got married to French designer Alexandre De Meyer, whom she reportedly met in 2011 when he designed the logo for her boutique 4 Miles 2 Memphis. While details of their marriage were kept out of the spotlight, in 2021 news broke that De Meyer and Colby divorced in June 2015. Though a somewhat amicable split, the designer requested spousal support as well as legal fees in November 2015. At the time of this writing, the outcome of that request is unclear.

Despite her failed relationship with Cushman however, Colby has maintained a close relationship with both of her kids. "I have incredibly strong children and I'm so thankful for that," the proud mother gushed in a May 2020 Instagram post.

Danielle Colby found love a third time

Her second marriage might have also ended but Danielle Colby is clearly not one to give up. She soon found love again, this time, with her fiancé, a man named Jeremy Scheuch. The couple got engaged in December 2020. "I did a thing! After almost 6 long years, I finally made an honest man out of my king @jscheuch," she announced in an Instagram post. "Feel free to head over to Patreon and watch the proposal video for yourself, I actually proposed to him on my birthday while we were filming my birthday burlesque show!" Since getting engaged, Scheuch and Colby have continued to give fans insight into their relationship, which has included sweet details about their first date. "7 years ago today, on Valentine's Day, I took this woman on a date to see Fleetwood Mac. We're still going strong. Next year we're getting married," Scheuch wrote in a Valentine's Day post in 2022.

Like her previous partners, Scheuch lives a relatively private life, only giving fans a glimpse through his Instagram page. There you will find Scheuch, an artist, sharing images of his art, pets, and Colby, among other things. But while not much is known about their love story, this much is clear; Scheuch is just as excited to spend forever with Colby. "She is truly my best friend and a real-life partner and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her," he gushed on Instagram December 2020.
