Summer House: Who Is Newbie Chris Leoni And What Does He Do For A Living?
"Summer House" Season 7 is finally upon us and familiar faces Paige DeSorbo, Carl Radke, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Lindsay Hubbard, Mya Allen, Ciara Miler, and Danielle Olivera have returned. Joining them are three new cast members, Samantha Feher, Gabby Prescod, and Chris Leoni. Andrea Denver and "Winter House" star Kory Keefer are also going to make appearances. If the trailer is any indication, this season will be full of drama and fights — some between old friends. Viewers will also see a lot of the usual partying and Leoni seemed to fit right in.
During the season premiere, Leoni arrived at the shared house and when learned he was the only single male, he seemed ready to live it up in the Hamptons. However, he also showed his serious side when he revealed to Radke that he attended boot camp and was a former Marine, which impressed the "Summer House" alum. Naturally, viewers will be curious to know more about Leoni, and here's everything to know about one of the newest cast members.
Chris Leoni is a director and filmmaker
Chris Leoni is one of "Summer House" Season 7's most interesting cast members. He comes from a Honduran-Uruguayan background and was raised in Florida. Leoni joined the Marines in 2010 and served for four years as a field radio operator. After leaving the military in 2014, he moved to New York City to pursue his career in photography and filmmaking. The "Summer House" star attended the School of Visual Arts from 2017 to 2021 and received a Bachelor's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. One of his projects includes the short drama/thriller "INK," which went on to become a finalist at the 2020 New York Cinematography Awards.
Leoni's latest project is his indie film "Intern On Parade," which appears to be a comedy. "This film was shot back in March of 2021, with a total of 5 shooting days and endless amount of prep hours. We aimed to have the audience laugh from start to finish, and I'm very proud of the finished product. Thank you SO MUCH to every helping hand," his shared on Instagram.
When he's not making films, Leoni is taking pictures of breathtaking landscapes, such as the Sun God Pyramid in Mexico and an eagle-eye view of a town in Colombia, which he proudly displays on his separate photography Instagram account. However, Leoni is not just talented behind the camera, but in front of it as well.
Chris Leoni also has a modeling career
The newest "Summer House" star is proving to be multi-talented. In addition to being a filmmaker, Chris Leoni is a fit model represented by TRUE Model Management. He has modeled for various brands such as Ralph Lauren, Under Armor, and UniQlo. Leoni also apparently has a great walk and has strutted on the runway during New York Fashion Week.
Leoni is apparently trying his hand at acting and shared in January 2022 that he got signed by the talent management company, Stein Entertainment. "Today I was officially welcomed to @steinentertainmentgroup! I'm glad to be back on the grind & to have them representing me. For those who don't know, actors have agencies and managers to represent them in this industry, it's a crucial component of our careers. Now, bring on the auditions," he wrote.
With so many talents, Leoni is definitely going to go far, and we can't wait to see what he brings to this season of "Summer House."
