Did Katy Perry Just Confirm She's Back With Orlando Bloom?

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's romance might be back on.

At American Idol's first live elimination show on Monday, April 23, 2018, the "Teenage Dream" singer spoke with Entertainment Tonight and revealed that she and her actor ex might have reconciled. When fellow judge Luke Bryan joked that Perry "totally could" date a contestant on their show, Perry spoke up, saying, "No, I'm sorry I have been spoken for and speak for myself."

When asked if she was seeing someone, Perry responded, "Yeah, girl, of course I am!"

ET then asked Perry if she was a "Mrs. Broom," referring to the pop star's Instagram Story earlier that day, in which she held up a picture of Bloom holding a broom, titled "Orlando Broom."

"No, I'm not a Mrs. Broom," Perry answered before winking at the camera. Perry and Bryan's co-judge Lionel Richie then jumped in, adding, "Whoa, that took a turn!"

As Nicki Swift previously reported, fans suspected that Perry and Bloom had gotten back together after about a year apart. In January 2018, they were spotted vacationing together in the Maldives. A month later, a source told The Sun, "Katy wants to make things work this time around. She tried, but she couldn't cut him off. She cares too much about him. This time, they're keeping things low key — but they're back together."

Perry and Bloom were first romantically linked back in 2016, after they were reportedly seen getting flirty at a Golden Globes after-party. But, in January 2017, the two announced that they'd decided to take "respectful, loving space" from one another. However, months later, the two were spotted together at an Ed Sheeran concert in August, fueling speculation that the two may not have split for good.

So ... are Perry and Bloom back together now? It sure seems like it, but we'll just have to wait for a clear confirmation from either party.
