Chase Sui Wonders: What We Know About Pete Davidson's Latest Love Interest
Pete Davidson's love life continues to inspire headlines. Back in August 2022, Davidson split from Kim Kardashian, per TMZ, after nearly a year of high-profile outings — such as the 2022 Met Gala — and tons of PDA. Despite the near-daily updates, the former couple barely made it to the nine-month mark, with insiders reporting to E! News that their busy schedules did them in. Since then Davidson has kept a much lower profile, likely aided by Kardashian's decision to edit him out of Season 2 of "The Kardashians" (via BuzzFeed News).
Davidson has since pursued a relationship with model Emily Ratajkowski. According to Us Weekly, the pair kicked things off in November 2022. However, Davidson and Ratajkowski soon called it quits just a few weeks later. And, while Davidson and Kardashian have maintained a somewhat amicable correspondence, Ratajkowski's recent comments about attracting "the worst men," on the "High Low" podcast (via Us Weekly), suggests lingering tension between the former pair.
But Davidson doesn't seem too fazed, as he has a new romantic prospect in his life: Chase Sui Wonders. Davidson and Wonders first sparked dating rumors back in December 2022 after TMZ spotted them hanging out. A source later contacted the outlet and claimed they were just friends. However, the Daily Mail just completely blew the lid off of their relationship by posting a barrage of vacation photos of Davidson kissing the brunette beauty. But just who is Pete's latest romantic prospect?
Chase Sui Wonders is an actor and writer
Chase Sui Wonders is an actor. In fact, she met Pete Davidson on the set of 2022's "Bodies, Bodies, Bodies," a comedy horror about the tragedies that befall a group of privileged young adults. According to BuzzFeed, Davidson and Wonders play a couple in the film. And, while Davidson was definitely with Kim Kardashian for at least part of the film's production, sources who spoke to Us Weekly claim that they were quite chummy on-set. "Pete and Chase had insane chemistry on set as well as when the cameras weren't rolling," shared the source.
With that said, Wonders' acting resume extends back a bit further. According to a profile with Teen Vogue, Wonders' mom forced her into local theater productions to help her blossom socially. "God, this is so very embarrassing, but I slept in my mom's bed until I was way too old," shared Wonders. "I spent [my childhood] kind of shrouded behind my mom and just would not talk to strangers. I was always in the background [of plays] because I did not like to speak, and I had extreme stage fright." Fortunately, Wonders persevered and has since racked up 15 acting credits on her IMDb. Wonders' most notable role, so far, has been her starring role on HBO Max's "Generation," a teen coming-of-age series.
Wonders also appeared in "Out of The Blue" and "Bupkis," a documentary about Davidson's life.
Chase Sui Wonders went to Harvard
If the whole acting thing doesn't work out for Chase Sui Wonders, then she has a better back up plan than most: a Harvard degree. According to W Magazine, Wonders was a burgeoning senior in 2017, studying film production. However, she made time for her extracurriculars, such as writing for the school's famous newspaper, the Harvard Lampoon. According to Elite Daily, Wonders graduated magna cum laude the following year, in 2018. Unfortunately, Wonders' decision to pursue a filmmaking degree, rather than focusing on her acting, wasn't born out of genuine interest.
During an interview with Air Mail, Wonders shared that a disparaging review from a play she'd been involved with killed her spirits. "The quote was 'Chase Sui Wonders was the nail in the coffin of this terrible play,'" said Wonders. "I was like, D**n her word is God." Thankfully, those words didn't derail her professional — and by extension, her personal — pursuits indefinitely.
