Henry Cavill's Girlfriend Starred In Her Own Episode Of My Super Sweet 16

Henry Cavill and girlfriend Natalie Viscuso's paths seemed destined to cross. Per Deadline, before she joined Vertigo Entertainment in May 2022, Viscuso was vice president of television and digital studios at Legendary Entertainment. If the company name sounds familiar, it's because you may have seen it in the producing credits for two of Cavill's most famous films — 2013's "Man of Steel" and 2020's "Enola Holmes." (Legendary also produced November 2022's "Enola Holmes 2," but Viscuso had parted ways by then.)

The actor and the television honcho quietly went Instagram-official in April 2021, days after being spotted strolling through London looking cozy, according to People. Posting the same photo of themselves engaged in a game of chess, Cavill's pictured smiling at Viscuso while she contemplates their chessboard. "This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess," the former DCEU star lovingly captioned the upload. Meanwhile, Viscuso wondered out loud on hers if she was educating Cavill on chess "or...maybe he let me win?"

Often appearing in Instagram snaps wearing glasses sans makeup, Viscuso's feed gives off major down-to-earth vibes. That's what makes it all the more difficult to reconcile the grown-up TV exec with her younger self on MTV's "My Super Sweet 16." Yup — long before she worked in Hollywood and long before she met Cavill, Viscuso starred in her very own episode of the hit reality show.

Natalie Viscuso lived lavishly as a teen

Many of us unknowingly first saw Henry Cavill's girlfriend on the premiere season of MTV's "My Super Sweet 16!" On the 2005 episode, Natalie Viscuso's 16th birthday bash was held at none other than one of her father's five nightclubs, per the Daily Mail. With the party costing $450,000, Viscuso — spray-tanned and bleach-blonde — told MTV, "Money really is not an object to me. I'm really spoiled." No kidding. In her dad's $5 million, La Jolla, California mansion, Viscuso drove Bentleys and Ferraris and wore Gucci and Dior.

Life wasn't always so fabulous for Viscuso. "I came from the nothingness of Roswell, New Mexico," she said, having spent her childhood with relatives there following her parents' divorce. Calling life in the small town "difficult," Viscuso lamented that, within a 10-minute drive, one would have seen "a Dairy Queen and a Walmart." She also attributed her difficulty in Roswell to others' jealousy, saying, "I kind of stand out as being prettier than a lot of people." Of course, all that changed when, at 15, her father invited her to live with him and her stepmom-to-be in California. Despite being "the new girl in school," Viscuso claimed that people "know me because of the cars my dad has."

Viscuso's closeness with her father endured over the years. A 2022 Instagram post showed the duo celebrating at one of her work events. "Pops showed up to party!!" Viscuso affectionately wrote.

Natalie Viscuso shares Henry Cavill's passion for gaming

Who knew that the teenage Natalie Viscuso on "My Super Sweet 16" was (or would become) a huge gaming geek? In December 2022, she, as well as beau Henry Cavill, announced on Instagram that they were adapting "Warhammer 40,000" together for a live-action film. Thanks to her position at production company Vertigo Entertainment, Cavill wrote in his post that they have "found the perfect home at Amazon" for the project. A tabletop game about "dark, futuristic warfare," per the "Warhammer" website, Cavill was the one who got Viscuso hooked. "Fantasy, horror and sci-fi are the bedrock of my creative language," the entertainment exec captioned her post. "So when Henry introduced me to Warhammer a couple of years ago, I immediately felt at home." As vice president of television for Vertigo Entertainment, Viscuso also excitedly announced in December 2022 that she'll be adapting the popular video game "God of War" into a live-action Amazon Prime series.

Such is Viscuso and Cavill's shared passion for gaming that the couple couldn't stop binging Netflix's "Arcane" late on a work night. In a November 2022 interview with BBC Radio 1, Cavill revealed that they immediately got addicted to the animated show, based on the "Arcane: League of Legends" game. Despite having work the next morning, Viscuso said to Cavill, after he protested going to bed, "Yeah, okay, I'm with you, we should definitely keep on watching." Aw, a match forged in geek heaven!
