Why Brad Goreski And Rachel Zoe Aren't Friends Anymore

Bravo's lineup has changed a lot over the years. These days, the various "Housewives" iterations rule over the network, sitting comfortably at the top of the heap. However, there are a ton of Bravo shows that you've probably never seen which are just as entertaining. Enter "The Rachel Zoe Project," a show which chronicled celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe's burgeoning fashion empire. First premiering in 2008, the show lasted for five years before Zoe walked away in 2013, per Daily Mail

Viewers initially tuned in to get glimpses of Zoe's celebrity clients, which have included Jennifer Lawrence, Cameron Diaz, and Kate Hudson (via Marie Claire); however, Zoe's friendship with Brad Goreski, who Zoe originally hired to assist her assistant, Taylor Jacobson, quickly became a highlight of the show. Not only did Goreski and Zoe make a formidable fashion duo, Goreski's upbeat personality soon won over the hearts of viewers. In 2010, after three seasons, Goreski announced that he was leaving the show (via Access) and thanked Zoe for being a good boss. At the time, Zoe cheered Goreski on amid his decision, tweeting, "Thanks lil B, u'll do great!" However, this friendly send-off would soon turn quite sour.

Brad Goreski's rising star may have did them in

Rachel Zoe used Season 4 of "The Rachel Zoe Project" as an attempt to explain just what went down with Brad Goreski. "After three years of working together, Brad sat [my husband] and I down and said, 'I need to make a change,'" said Zoe (via Perez Hilton). "'I want to be at home with my dog and my boyfriend. I want my personal life. I want to be out of the limelight.'" She continued: "And of course, after a week of us parting, when Brad went out on his own as a stylist, he started to pursue our clients, started going to all these events and doing all the things he said he had no interest in."

In January 2022, around the time his Bravo spin-off, "It's A Brad, Brad World" premiered. Goreski told his version of events. "I think it's unfortunate that she decided to take the angle that she did because it's not the truth," shared Goreski with The Daily Beast. "It's unfortunate that all of the time that I spent with her, and the many lengthy conversations that we had discussing my departure from working with her, that she would choose to character assassinate me on television." Ultimately, Goreski revealed that he "left to create a name for myself," before remarking that Zoe might be jealous.

Brad Goreski and Rachel Zoe probably won't reconcile

Brad Goreski and Rachel Zoe have continued to build their respective fashion empires, although both of their shows have since been cancelled. Proving that it's sometimes best to leave the past in the past, Zoe recently shared an update about her relationship with Goreski — and she didn't have much to offer. "I don't see him," said Goreski during an episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen."  Once Zoe didn't voluntarily reveal anything else, Mindy Kaling, who was also a guest, praised her for her classiness.

At this time, it doesn't appear that Zoe has any interest in reconciling. Zoe echoed similar sentiments during an earlier appearance on "WWHL," as she revealed that, when she does run into Goreski while out in public, she would only offer him a shallow "hi" (via Bravo). Goreski, on the other hand, has left the possibility of a reconciliation on the table; however, it doesn't appear as if their celebrity feud will ever end.
