Lisa Rinna's Most Extreme Housewives Moments Ever
Lisa Rinna has certainly "owned it" during her eight-year tenure on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." The former soap actor knows a thing or two about being center stage, whether it be in her own life or meddling in someone else's. She's sassy, self-deprecating, witty, and every bit as dramatic as the characters she played on daytime television. She's known for bringing the spunk to the famous franchise, dishing on all the drama, and feuding with her fellow housewives — current and former. Whether she's serving head-to-toe leopard, getting booed at BravoCon, or twirling on her haters with her infamous Instagram dancing, one thing is for sure: she is quite the character.
In 2023, the long-serving Housewife took her final bow, giving up her coveted role as a Beverly Hills Housewife. The Rinna Beauty mogul announced that she was walking away from the franchise, saying in a statement shared by Bravo, "This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series."
Her departure comes in the midst of her ongoing feud with fellow star Kathy Hilton, and on the heels of a fiery season that followed the death of her beloved mother and fan-favorite, Lois. Fans have even dubbed the former soap star as "the villain" of the show, most likely due to her constant shade-throwing. With Rinna's exit marking the end of an era, it's only right that we would take a look back on all of Lisa Rinna's most extreme "RHOBH" moments ever.
When she slammed Kim Richards' sobriety
Lisa Rinna's rage towards Kim Richards continued to play out throughout Season 7 of "RHOBH." The Rinna Beauty founder made strong allegations about her co-star, alleging that she was an addict close to death. She took it even further saying, "Kyle's her enabler, I will say that ... She's afraid she's going to die. I know it, you know it. To me, this is what's going to happen next. They're this close to Kim dying."
The allegations hit close to home for Richards, who has been open about her struggles with sobriety throughout her time on the show. She took to Twitter to respond at the time, writing, "How many times does this leopard changes her spots!! Too many." She continued to live tweet throughout the episode, adding, "Yes you did WANT TO HURT ME LISA @lisarinna YOU LIE," and tweeting, "Well I am strong now!! NO MORE LISA!! She can not do to me what she's done for the past few years!! I have VOICE NOW."
As for castmates' reactions on Rinna "owning it," Dorit Kemsley said, "It's funny 'cause she loves to point the finger when someone doesn't remember something, but she finds herself in that same [situation]."

Her infamous fight with Kim Richards
The moment Lisa Rinna flung a wine glass will forever go down in "RHOBH" history. The "Rinna Wines" founder's feud with co-star Kim Richards exploded in 2015 during a cast trip to Amsterdam. The fight began at a group dinner when Rinna brought up her trauma related to alcoholism, one that stemmed from her own sister dying from an alcohol and drug overdose. Rinna turns to Richards, who has battled with sobriety herself, saying, "'I'm sorry if I've ever gotten into any of your business, I never meant to." Richards then turned on Rinna by alleging that she was having problems in her marriage. The dinner ended with Rinna lunging towards her co-star, throwing wine on her, and smashing a wine glass.
Their drama seemed to have come to an unlikely end in 2019. Richards revealed at that year's BravoCon that her son-in-law's brother was dating Rinna's daughter Amelia. "So we realized the other night that we could be in-laws. And I said to Lisa the other night, this is pretty crazy; this is our karma for fighting." Richards confessed. The "RHOBH" star invited Rinna to her family Christmas party, and the two seemed to put their Amsterdam clash to bed.
The Rinna Wines mogul attempted to clear up any allegations about her married life in 2022 via Instagram comments. She replied to Kathy Hilton's comment on former co-star Crystal Kung Minkoff's photo, claiming that Hilton had called her after joining the show to admit Richards had made up the rumors in Amsterdam.

The Munchausen debate
If you're a true "RHOBH" fan, you can't hear the word "Munchausen" and not think of Lisa Rinna's infamous feud with Yolanda Hadid. Rinna's beef with her former co-star started over the housewives questioning Hadid's Lyme disease diagnosis. At the center of the rumor mill was — you guessed it — Rinna. The reality television star stirred up controversy by engaging in gossip with the other housewives, bringing up Munchausen's syndrome, a mental condition in which a person falsely believes they are ill. Hadid confronted Rinna during Season 6, calling it "the biggest f***ing blow" that she had ever received in her life. Rinna was ultimately in the dog house, and she did her best to apologize, though it was received less than enthusiastically by her co-star at the time.
Rinna admitted her wrongs via her Bravo blog at the time, and Hadid chalked it up to ignorance. The star responded on her blog, writing, "Few people have the ability to stay firm when they're not educated or spiritually centered and not feed into the negativity otherwise known as gossip. I don't blame Rinna, Kyle or LVDP — I understand it and feel sorry to see my battle be such a point of weakness for them."
These two may have squashed it, but Hadid was quick to throw shade at Rinna's ongoing beef with Kathy Hilton. She told ET in 2022, "I feel sorry for Kathy because I've been in her shoes," she said. "It goes deep, right? And why? Because you want camera time."
The end of her friendship with Denise Richards
Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna had been friends for what seemed like forever — until they weren't. Season 10 of "RHOBH" would prove to be the nail in the coffin of their 20-year-long friendship being sidekicks in the entertainment business. What sparked their controversial feud was a rumor brought up by Brandi Glanville. The former Housewife alleged that she had a threesome with the "Wild Things" star, sparking a he-said-she-said debate, that Richards continually denied.
Rinna wasn't confident that her friend was telling the truth and attempted to hash it out with Richards with no resolve. "I don't know exactly what I believe," she told Richards, emphasizing a long chain of alleged texts between Richards and Glanville that Rinna had seen. "My interaction with her was very limited," Richards responded, "I've seen her four times in my life."
Rinna wasn't buying it though, and their friendship came to a bitter end as Season 10 wrapped. It doesn't mean that Richards isn't keeping up with her frenemy, however. She took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the reunion writing, "I watched #RHOBH last night." She went on, "While I have empathy for Lisa Rinna losing her mom, what is her excuse all the other years on the show for being so cruel & so vindictive?" This might not be the end of their drama, however, as Richards admitted on SiriusXM that she "would never say never" to returning to the franchise, with or without Rinna.
Lisa Rinna made some serious drug accusations
Lisa Rinna never shies away from controversy. If there's drama in the air, you can bet the Rinna Beauty founder is on the case — just waiting for a Housewife to "own it." Her penchant for meddling may have got the best of her in Season 7, however, when she made some wild accusations about her co-star Dorit Kemsley. In Season 7, Episode 16, she asked her cast mate, "Were people doing coke in your bathroom?" referring to a dinner party hosted at Kemsley's house. "All you have to say is 'no,'" Rinna added. Kemsley denied the allegations, and fellow cast mates didn't take too kindly to Rinna's accusations. "For Lisa Rinna to sink this low ... it's disgusting," co-star Kyle Richards said in a confessional.
Though the two walked away from the argument unscathed — with no wine glasses thrown — it rubbed Kemsley the wrong way. "I can't for the life of me understand why Rinna would make such a preposterous accusation," she later said in the episode. "It's specifically designed to malign my character. What the hell did I do to merit that? I have two small children. What are you suggesting?"
It seems all is well in the world of Housewives, however, as these two have moved on from any bad blood. Rinna thanked her former co-star for her friendship following her mother's death, writing on Kemsley's Instagram post, "What a beautiful party! I'm so sorry my breakdown happened during your most spectacular evening. Thank you for all of the love and support Dorit I love you."
Her ongoing feud with Kathy Hilton
Lisa Rinna's controversial feud with Kathy Hilton blew up to become one of the most talked about "RHOBH" spats of all time. The drama began — as it often does — over tequila. Tensions rose when Rinna asked for a shot of Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila over Casa Del Sol Tequila, a brand Hilton invests in (and shamelessly plugged throughout Season 12). Hilton gets visibly annoyed, annoyed that her sister Kyle didn't "do a f***ing thing."
The drama carried over into the night when Hilton allegedly had a meltdown after the Housewives went to an Aspen club and her song requests were refused by the DJ. In the final installment of the Season 12 reunion, Rinna alleged that after Hilton left the club she proceeded to go on a rant criticizing her Bravo co-stars and the television network. Rinna likened it to "Kathy screaming and yelling and venting and saying things I have never heard in my life." Hilton denied accusations that she had threatened to take down her own sister, but did however admit to confiding in Rinna. "I recall venting, thinking that we've known each other a long time, this is not being filmed, and I felt like I could trust you," Hilton confessed.
The controversy lives on as a he-said-she-said debate, and the relationship between these two remains unclear. Hilton told TMZ that she refused to film with Rinna, calling her a "bully." Meanwhile, Rinna revealed to ET that the two had seen each other post-reunion and "had a lovely chat."
Her shade towards Bravo producers
There's an age-old saying that says, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you." Lisa Rinna may not be one for proverbs, given the shade she's thrown at her Bravo producers. The drama ignited after Rinna posted since-expired Instagram stories calling out the production team for not devoting enough airtime to her late mother. "I'm shocked we spent 3 episodes about the word dark but only few scenes shown on real human grief," the "Days of Our Lives" star wrote at the time. She ultimately backtracked her statement, writing, "I think production featured Lois a lot over the years, actually, which is why I thought they would celebrate her life a bit more and show our family's grieving process," adding, "We all just loved her so much and I'm grateful the show gave her a platform. She loved it and loved all of you."
Rinna's rage didn't end there, however. The Twitter handle "Queens of Bravo" obtained since-deleted Instagram stories from the former Housewife of a drawing she posted of her late mother. "I think this is the one thing on the reunion that I'm really sad that they didn't show," she said in the video, adding, "I had brought this with me in my dressing room and had it there, and I'm so sorry they didn't show it. You know, I just don't think they wanted to have me have any form of sympathy." The reality television star briefly deactivated her Twitter account after all her shade-throwing.
The eating disorder debate
Lisa Rinna's infamous sexy dance moves had fellow cast-mates talking. The "RHOBH" star is notorious for posting dance videos on Instagram, but fellow co-star Garcelle Beauvais questioned the consequences the videos could have on Rinna's daughter Amelia Hamlin. "The Real" host asked Rinna during Season 10, "Do you think that your body image affected your daughter in any way?" adding, "I don't even have a daughter ... [But] dancing on Instagram in a bathing suit or underwear? Because you're so fit, do you ever worry that your fitness and your body hurts her?" Rinna defended her social media posts, saying, "I actually don't think that is what caused Amelia's anorexia," she replied. "People are going to judge all of us as mothers." The "Days of Our Lives" went on to say that she was proud of her daughter for coming forward in a public platform to speak on her struggles with her eating disorder.
Rinna came under fire again when her daughter slammed critics on Instagram that claimed she was using her story for more air time. "I seriously can't believe I'm being accused of lying about anorexia to get more 'air time' sorry but I'm forced to be on the housewives by my mom," she wrote in a since-deleted post. "Ask anyone it's the last thing I want to do. I couldn't care less about air time."

Lisa Rinna's feud with Sutton Stracke involved Elton John
Lisa Rinna and Sutton Stracke had it out on Season 12 of "RHOBH," all in the name of Elton John. The drama began when Stracke called out Rinna on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," alleging that she invited Rinna and her husband as guests to an Elton John charity gala. "I never got a thank you," Stracke said, throwing a dig at her then-co-star. Rinna denied that claim, saying that she and her husband were invited by Elton John. Stracke claimed to have bought the tickets for Rinna, which went for $10,000 each.
Rinna took to receipts to clear her name, posting emails from 2019 between her husband Harry Hamlin and the organizers of the event. As per Radar, the emails seemed to provide a different interpretation of events. "The invite came from Sutton Stracke she was going to have a table but no longer purchasing. I am trying to find two seats as we are at capacity. I am even asking IMDB since they were interested in them for the show. Stand by," one email read. Rinna proceeded to post more emails that read that she and Harry were guests "of the IMDb team due to [their] participation in the party coverage." Stracke denied all of Rinna's claims that she canceled a table during Season 12 of the series, saying, "I also know what slander is. And I did not cancel a table."
The sauce debacle
It's all about the sauce. Or at least, it is with Lisa Rinna and Garcelle Beauvais. The drama between the two started in Season 11, when Rinna gave Beauvais homemade sauce made by her husband Harry Hamlin. Rinna threw shade at her co-star, claiming Hamlin never got a thank you. The "L.A. Law" actor denied that claim, telling Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live," "I never would expect [that], I just wanted you to enjoy the sauce.'"
Ttheir beef continued when Rinna revealed during the Season 12 reunion that she threw her co-star's memoir in the trash. The Rinna Wines founder went on to admit that commentary over her daughter Amelia Hamlin's eating disorder prompted her to toss the book in the garbage. Their on-again-off-again friendship is constantly on the rocks, and Rinna drew criticism yet again for calling out her cast mate via Instagram. The soap star wrote in a since-deleted Instagram story, "We fight on our show if we fight with Garcelle we are all of a sudden called a racist, "That's bulls***. I will not accept that."
If the Instagram shade has anything to do with it — we'd say the friendship between these two is rocky. Fans speculated Beauvais threw a dig at Rinna over her "RHOBH" exit when she posted a since-deleted Instagram story singing along to Elton John's "I'm Still Standing."

Lisa Rinna's puppy feud with Lisa Vanderpump
Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump ended their friendship over puppies, surprisingly enough. The controversy went down during Season 9 of "RHOBH" when cast member Dorit Kemsley adopted a dog from Vanderpump's rescue organization, the "Vanderpump Dog Foundation." Before cameras began filming, the dog bit Kemsley's daughter and husband, leading Kemsley to give it away to a friend, who later gave it away to another shelter. Because of the dog's microchip, Vanderpump was alerted to the dog's location, sparking the infamous "Puppygate."
It was revealed that the storyline was brought to air by one of Vanderpump's employees, which caused a firestorm. Rinna accused Vanderpump of leaking the story saying "He's your employee. This wouldn't get out there if you didn't want it out there ... This sounds like a f***ing set up." It ultimately was a set-up, with a producer revealing that Vanderpump had, in fact, leaked the story. "When Lisa lost the narrative in the show, and she realized that it wasn't going the way she wanted, that's when she leaked the story to the press," said "RHOBH" executive producer Chris Cullen to Dave Quinn in the "Housewives" tell-all book "Not All Diamonds and Rosé" (via Page Six).
Vanderpump was quick to throw shade at her former cast mate via Twitter following the announcement of Rinna's exit. The "VDF" founder tweeted, "Ding Dong" which many fans speculated was a dig at Rinna. "Lol gworrlll i KNOW this about RHINNA! Lmao i love you being so petty labelle," one user tweeted.
