Here's What Really Went Down Between Kate Hudson And Nick Jonas
There's no doubting it; Nick Jonas and Kate Hudson are Hollywood royalty. While she doesn't get many movie offers today, Hudson is both gorgeous and talented, with a laundry list of memorable roles under her belt to show for it. Some of her most iconic films include "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," "Bride Wars," and one of her most recent endeavors, "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery," per IMDb. The actor comes from a family of well-known entertainers, as Goldie Hawn is her mother and Kurt Russell is her stepdad. "There was no knowing with Kate. It just was. She came out of the womb performing. Song and dance. And you know, 'Hey! Look at me,'" her brother Oliver Hudson told Ellen DeGeneres regarding his sister's ability to command attention.
Nick Jonas has certainly seen his own success. The Jonas Brother revealed to New Jersey Monthly he got his first taste of stardom after landing a role in a Broadway play at the tender age of 8. Shortly after, he embarked on a successful musical career with his brothers, Joe and Kevin Jonas. The group achieved worldwide recognition — and it was only a matter of time before Nick crossed paths with Hudson.
Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas had a special connection
Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas might have been the Hollywood romance that never was. Or was it?
According to Instyle, the two were first introduced by Kate's older brother, Oliver Hudson, in the summer of 2015. While both enjoyed impressive dating histories dotted with some of the biggest stars in Tinsel Town, they eventually found themselves the subject of dating rumors that were difficult to diffuse. Page Six reported the two were merely "hanging out," while TMZ added fire to the dating claims when they revealed photos of the two enjoying each other's company at Disney World in September 2015.
While the two said they weren't an item, it was hard to hide the fact that they were spending a lot of time together. In an interview with Complex in 2016, the "Jealous" crooner appeared defensive when asked whether the two were an item. "You know, it's interesting. You're allowed to ask me whatever the f*** you want, and I'll answer it, or not," he quipped. Nick declined to comment on their involvement but did have some kind words to say about the actor. "Kate's incredible. We have an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other and see something in each other that's beautiful," He said. "Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She's amazing."
The two have found their happily ever after
Whatever flame existed between Nick Jonas and Kate Hudson appears to have faded. While it's unclear why they decided to part ways, In Style reports the two went their separate ways in the Spring of 2016.
While a love life didn't work out for Jonas and Hudson, the pair has found love elsewhere. Hudson continued to search for romance and found a connection with Danny Fujikawa. Although she's known the founder of Lightwave Records for decades, the two didn't become an item until 2016. She sealed the news with a kiss when she made it Instagram official in 2017. In the post, Hudson celebrated her new romance, writing, "So on our 15th year of knowing each other we were able to open our hearts to each other to feel so much pure love and it's been truly incredible." The pair welcomed a daughter in October 2018 and got engaged a year later. She currently co-parents her two sons, Ryder Robinson and Bingham Bellamy, with her ex-partners, Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy, respectfully.
On the other hand, Jonas found the love of his life with actor Priyanka Chopra. According to Glamour, it was a whirlwind romance for the couple, who were engaged two months after officially dating. The dotting lovebirds recently welcomed a daughter, Malti Mae, in January 2022. Here's to both couples for finding that happily ever after!
