Whatever Happened To Bobby Brown's Daughter, La'Princia?

Bobby Brown has suffered more than his fair share of heartbreak. Bobby's marriage to Whitney Houston was tumultuous. Their codependent and toxic relationship was well-documented, but one good thing resulted from the union: their daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Tragically, both Houston and Bobbi Kristina died under shocking circumstances just three years apart, leaving Bobby reeling. Then, in 2020, as the singer was still trying to come to terms with that catastrophe, his son from his relationship with Kim Ward died. Bobby Brown Jr.'s cause of death was an accidental drug overdose.

Bobby made a heartbreaking confession about the loss of his children. The grieving father told People that he regularly dreams about Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Jr. happy together with his mom, dad, and God looking after them. But Bobby Jr. wasn't the only child that Bobby and Ward shared. The couple also had a daughter, La'Princia Brown. Although she's lost two of her siblings, La'Princia isn't an only child. She has an older brother, Landon Brown. Then, after Bobby married his second wife, Alicia Etheredge, La'Princia gained a half-brother, Cassius Brown, and two half-sisters, Bodhi and Hendrix Brown, according to The U.S. Sun

La'Princia grew up in the spotlight. According to IMDb, she appeared in her dad's 2005 reality show, "Being Bobby Brown," in addition to "The Big Edition with Donny Deutsch" and "The Tyra Banks Show," before stepping out of the media glare. So, whatever happened to Bobby Brown's daughter, La'Princia?

La'Princia has suffered heartache just like her dad

While she once dabbled in the entertainment industry, it hasn't been all showbiz razzle dazzle for La'Princia Brown. Just like her father, Bobby Brown, she's battled her own heartache. La'Princia was extremely close to her half-sister, Bobbi Kristina Brown. She was devastated by her death and strives to keep her memory alive.

"Bobbi Kristina Brown, my beautiful little sister. Not a day goes by where I don't think of her and feel the heaviness in my heart," La'Princia wrote in a touching Instagram post alongside an adorable photo of Bobbi Kristina as a little girl. La'Princia admitted that, sadly, she really doesn't have much to remember Bobbi Kristina by and begged people to send her "photos, videos, screenshots of her positive words, ANYTHING with my sister."

According to Ned Hardy, to help distract from her grief, La'Princia began making jewelry. She also expresses her feelings on her blog, Saving Princie. "My sister will always remain one of my favorite people to have walked this earth," La'Princia wrote in a post titled Serenity. "I don't think I could ever express to anyone the wavelength my sister & I rid on." Meanwhile, La'Princia is also close to her other siblings and regularly posts photos of her blended family to her Instagram account.

La'Princia is all grown up and married

La'Princia Brown returned to TV screens in 2022, appearing in her dad's new reality show "Bobby Brown: Every Little Step," as she prepared to marry her now-husband Eddie Ray. "There's never a dull moment in the Brown household as they move through the triumphs and travails of everyday life," A&E promises, and they deliver on their word. In one episode, Bobby becomes overwhelmed with emotion about giving his beloved daughter away.

"My second born, La'Princia Queenescha Brown is my heart," Bobby admits during an on-camera confession. "She's my road dog." The proud dad says La'Princia is his double and that they're super close. "I believe I'll cry," Bobby predicted about his walk down the aisle in August 2021. "A father is supposed to show his emotions and his feelings during times like weddings," he explained. (Spoiler alert: Bobby sobs).

La'Princia's stepmom, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, shared a photo of the big day on her Instagram. "AMAZING wedding, congrats to my beautiful bonus daughter and my son-in-law," she captioned the wedding pic. Essence reported that La'Princia and Ray met as teenagers and dated for 10 years before tying the knot. "I feel safe. I can finally be myself without fear of being shamed for who I am," La'Princia wrote on her blog. "It's a beautiful feeling. I have a partner in life, and I'm in love with him."
