Why The Bold And The Beautiful's Ashley Jones Took Out A Restraining Order On Ex-Husband
Even though Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) isn't as prominently featured on "The Bold and the Beautiful" as she used to be, she sure has had some memorable moments on the hit CBS soap. No one can forget how her husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), once had an affair with her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), which resulted in a pregnancy (via Soap Hub). Even though Bridget was quite a rebellious teenager – she's a Forrester, after all — she did grow up to become a doctor and have a baby of her own. From time to time, Bridget makes an appearance on the sudser to give her mom Brooke or sister Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) some much-needed advice or show of support — like when Hope found out that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) had a baby with another woman, per Soaps in Depth.
With that said, Bridget's portrayer Ashley Jones has also had her fair of off-screen drama. Although, it's the kind of drama Bridget certainly wouldn't want to see herself in, let alone Jones herself. That's because it had to do with a frightening situation with her ex-husband.
Ashley Jones has a turbulent history with ex-husband Joel Henricks
"The Bold and the Beautiful" star Ashley Jones might play a glamorous doctor with a relatively quiet life, but the actress' private life with her ex-husband Joel Henricks was anything but. According to People, Jones pulled the plug on their marriage in September 2019 after only four short years together. Not only that, but she also filed for a restraining order against him. In court documents, Jones claimed that she and her young son Hayden Joel had to leave their home because she was "afraid for my safety and the safety of our son." What's more, Jones claimed that her ex used to call her "a whore and accused me of infidelity regularly, and been incredibly jealous of long-ago boyfriends with whom I have no contact." She also said during one incident, Henricks was intoxicated and had gotten physical with her.
Jones' divorce wasn't easy, though, as it took nearly three years to be finalized by the courts. She and Henricks were officially divorced by June 2022, and her restraining order was extended until February 2023, per TMZ. It's also reported that Henricks hurt Jones so badly that he caused a spiral fracture in her hand that required surgery. However, despite everything Jones had gone through with her ex, she's still managed to keep things as positive as possible for her son, Hayden.

Ashley Jones is focused on her future
Ashley Jones enjoys being an actress, but the role she loves more than anything else is being a mom. The soap star often shares adorable moments with Hayden on social media, focusing on all the light and love in her life. Her ex-husband Joel Henricks has been doing the same, apparently. According to his Instagram, he's a father's rights advocate who spends a lot of time with Hayden and his son from a previous relationship.
Jones has also been relying on the support of her "The Bold and the Beautiful" cast members. She told Soap Opera Digest that her co-stars truly feel like a second family to her. When asked who she trusts to babysit her son the most, Jones responded with, "[Katherine] Kelly [Lang, Brooke], Jennifer [Gareis, Donna] and Heather [Tom, Katie], because they have all been around Hayden so much."
That said, Jones has also been busy on the professional front. In addition to her appearances on "The Bold and the Beautiful," she has also starred in several other projects, including the television movies "What Happened to My Sister" and "Sugar Mommy."
