Rachel McAdams Reportedly Pregnant With First Child

The Mean Girls star is expecting!

Rachel McAdams is pregnant with her first child, E! News reported on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018. While a rep for the Oscar nominee could not be reached at the time of the announcement, a number of sources reportedly confirmed the happy news to the publication.

McAdams, who previously dated Ryan Gosling, has been romantically linked with screenwriter Jamie Linden, 37, since the summer of 2016. However, it should be noted that the notoriously private pair, who rarely make public appearances together, have yet to personally confirm the baby news.

As the website noted, the 39-year-old actress has been keeping a low profile lately and even skipped the premiere of her latest film, Game Night, earlier in the week. And, interestingly, the Notebook star has previously opened up about her desire to have children in multiple interviews.

"Having a few [kids] would be great," she told People in 2009. "My mom is a great inspiration to me ... She's a nurse and very nurturing and gentle. She lets me be who I am. Hopefully I can take on those qualities and be as great as her."

A year later, McAdams revealed to InStyle that she needed to find the right partner before considering starting a family. "Part of me is very attached to the idea of having children," she said (via People). "It'll depend on if I find the person I want to do that with."
