Bachelor In Paradise's Carly Waddell Gives Birth To First Child With Husband Evan Bass
The two reality stars just had a baby!
E! News reports that Bachelor in Paradise couple Carly Waddell and Evan Bass welcomed their first child into the world on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018. And it's a girl! The pair named their baby girl Isabella Evelyn Bass.
Waddell and Bass announced that they'd become parents to a newborn daughter on social media. Sharing a series of photos from the hospital delivery room on Instagram, Bass wrote, "Y'all – she's perfect. Isabella Evelyn Bass. My heart is toast. Like toast with jelly cuz my dang heart is shook."
He continued, "I love her I love everyone I love love. Thanks for the encouraging words. (Also, hahaha can ya believe this is even happening. Who would've thought?!?)"
Bass also shared videos of his newborn on Instagram Stories, as he cooed over the newest member of his family.
On her own Instagram page, Waddell shared a photo of herself with her husband and newborn child, writing, "We are so happy to announce the birth of sweet Isabella Evelyn Bass. She weighs 6lbs 8 ounces and has currently stolen her dad's heart. The birth was amazing with no complications and I'm high over the moon with happiness." She jokingly added, "Also high from pain meds 🤣."
In a statement to People magazine, Bass said, "It was a perfect birth, no problems at all. We were supposed to induce her today but Carly's water broke 15 minutes before our alarm went off so Bella is setting her own birthday! Carly is recovering well and the baby has had her eyes open for hours." He noted, "I cried a lot during the birth! We are smitten and cannot stop kissing, cuddling and adoring her."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Waddell and Bass, who married in June 2017 after meeting on the third season of Bachelor in Paradise, announced that they were expecting back in early August. While their newborn baby girl is their first child together, the kiddo is Bass' fourth kid overall. He's already a parent to three sons — Nathan, Liam, and Ensley — from an earlier relationship.
Congratulations to Waddell and Bass!
