Lin-Manuel Miranda Welcomes Second Child With Wife Vanessa Nadal

On Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, Lin-Manuel Miranda took to Twitter to announce that his wife, Vanessa Nadal, had given birth to their second child together. Sharing a sweet black-and-white photo of Vanessa and their newborn, the 38-year-old revealed that they'd had a son they named Francisco.

Broadway icon that he is, Miranda shared the good news in the form of a theatrical tweet. "Int. Hospital Room. Night. [The screams reach a delirious crescendo. FRANCISCO MIRANDA enters. He is 7 pounds and 13 ounces.] Intermission," he wrote.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Miranda and Nadal, who married in 2010 and share 3-year-old son Sebastian, confirmed that they were expecting back in December.
