Nick Cannon's Former Partner Alyssa Scott Is Expecting Again After Their Tragic Loss
It's no secret that Nick Cannon has quite a brood of kiddos and an unconventional lifestyle. The talk show host is currently the proud pop of 11 children with several different women, and it almost seems like we hear baby news from the star on a regular basis. Cannon has spoken about his thought process on many occasions, including on an episode of the radio show "The Breakfast Club." In the interview, he called the idea of monogamy "Eurocentric." Cannon added, "The idea that a man should have one woman. We shouldn't have anything. I have no ownership over this person." He also revealed that the women who carry his children are on board with his lifestyle.
While Cannon has been fortunate enough to have mostly healthy children, that sadly was not the case with his late son Zen, whom he shared with model Alyssa Scott. Zen died when he was 5 months old due to a form of brain cancer. "We had a short time with a true angel," Cannon told People after Zen's death. "My heart is shattered. I wish I could have done more, spent more time with him, taken more pictures. I wish I could have hugged him longer."
Scott has also paid tribute to baby Zen, posting a photo of the baby and how she envisioned a future Valentine's Day with him that will never come to fruition. But luckily, Scott is sharing a glimmer of good news with fans.
Alyssa Scott is flaunting her baby bump
Could Nick Cannon have another baby on the way? It certainly seems that way, though there are still a lot of questions remaining. Alyssa Scott took to her Instagram feed to announce that she was pregnant with her third child. The photo captured the model holding her daughter on one hip as she touched the side of her growing baby bump. Scott sported a curve-hugging turquoise dress that hugged her tummy tightly, and wore her hair slicked back in a low bun. Perhaps the color choice of her ensemble was a nod to the baby's gender, but we'll have to wait and see. The model kept the caption simple, writing, "With you by my side." She also included a single white heart emoji at the end. Scott did not divulge any further details, like who the father might be, and instead she tagged her photographer Nicole Arruda in the shot.
It didn't take fans to comment on the post to wish the model well, especially after losing her son Zen so tragically last year. "May God protect and cover this sweet soul [you're] carrying," one follower commented. "I knew it! So happy for you! This is such a Blessing!" a second Instagrammer added. "May you have a beautiful, healthy and successful pregnancy and delivery–with a beautiful and healthy baby in your arms, in the end!!!" one more commented.
