All Of Christina Hall's Tattoos Explained
When it comes to tattoos, the possibilities are endless. They can be sentimental, fun, or, on the flip side, just downright bad. In fact, Nicki Swift conducted a poll asking fans which celebrity has the worst tattoos — to which musician Machine Gun Kelly took the cake.
But bad tattoos aside, ink is there for everyone. Many fans know Christina Hall from her HGTV renovation show "Flip or Flop" which also starred her now ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. Despite being on television for years, viewers may be surprised to find out that Christina has several tattoos. It is understandable, however, as to why fans of the show may not have recognized the ink. For one, Christina's tattoo placements can easily be hidden with clothing and the cameraman's ability to shoot at different angles. Two, the tattoos aren't large-scale ink that immediately draws somebody's attention.
Hall got into tattooing after getting her first official ink job done in 2017. In the following years, the "Christina on the Coast" star would add some new ink to the list — perhaps being inspired by her husband, Joshua Hall, who is tatted all along his arms and legs. So, what exactly are all of Christina's tattoos and what do they actually mean?
What tattoos does Christina Hall have?
Christina Hall is not a celebrity who has a plethora of tattoos on her body, in fact, the TV personality only has three total. Many stars have also gone on to get tattoos in places that could be a little questionable, but Hall got her tattoos in fairly common locations on the body. To start, People reports the star began getting tattoos in 2017 when she got a list of Roman numerals tattooed on her arm. The tattooed numbers don't seem to take up too much space, as they can be seen taking up just under half the length of her forearm.
Just one year later, Hall continued getting ink when she got the saying "Still I Rise" in a cursive font on her neck. The tattoo heads down in the direction of her spine, and according to Healthline, getting a tattoo on your neck and back can be one of the more painful areas for ink. Hall's third tattoo was documented via the star's Instagram Stories. At the time Hall only posted a discrete photo of her getting the tattoo by famous tattoo artist, Landon Reese. Showbiz CheatSheet later confirmed that the former "Flip or Flop" star got her husband, Joshua Hall's, name within an infinity symbol on her wrist
What do Christina Hall's tattoos mean?
Despite having only a few, each of Christina Hall's tattoos means something very special to her. According to Showbiz CheatSheet, Hall got her first tattoo, a list of roman numerals, because the numbers signified the birthdates of her two oldest children. Before their split, Hall and Tarek El Moussa had two children; daughter Taylor Reese and son Brayden James. In April 2022, El Moussa also decided to get the dates of his children's birthdates tattooed.
Hall's second tattoo of the quote "Still I Rise" came at a very pivotal moment in the star's life. She had announced she was divorcing her second husband, Ant Anstead, in a now-deleted Instagram post in September 2020. Just a couple months later, the home designer took to Instagram once more, but this time to show off some new ink. Hall captioned the post with a poem from memoirist and civil rights activist Maya Angelou entitled "Still I Rise." Although Hall never confirmed what the tattoo meant, many fans speculated that she had gotten the tattoo after her recent divorce as a reminder to rise from difficult situations.
The meaning behind Hall's third tattoo is pretty obvious. Per Showbiz CheatSheet, Hall got her husband, Josh Hall's, first name inked on her wrist. The name is placed within an infinity symbol. Again, Hall has never confirmed the exact meaning but with infinity meaning "forever," fans can only speculate that their marriage will last till the end of time.
