Here's Why You Don't See Stacey Silva's Sons On Darcey & Stacey
Twin sisters Darcey and Stacey Silva got their own reality television series on TLC after Darcey appeared on the network's hit series "90 Day Fiance," and "Darcey & Stacey" has gone on to follow the twins' personal and family lives. Among those featured on the show are Darcey's two daughters, Aniko and Aspen Bullok, but even viewers of "Darcey & Stacey" might not realize that Stacey was once married and is also a mother herself. Stacey shares two sons, whose names are Mateo and Parker Vasic, with ex-husband Goran Vasic, via Monsters & Critics.
Stacey has occasionally referenced her sons, who are known to be about the same age as Darcey's daughters, but neither Mateo nor Parker has made an appearance on "Darcey & Stacey" to date. With how frequently Aniko and Aspen appear on the series alongside their mother and aunt, fans have brought into question why their cousins by their aunt Stacey haven't been shown on "Darcey & Stacey," via Distractify.
Stacey Silva is protecting her sons' privacy
Although her twin sister Darcey Silva has allowed her daughters to be filmed for TLC, Stacey Silva has chosen not to do so. Stacey rarely shares information about her sons, Mateo and Parker Vasic, publicly, but she has occasionally posted pictures of the two of them to her Instagram story, via Monsters & Critics. (Both Darcey and Stacey have been known to change the privacy settings on their personal Instagram accounts so that their posts are not publicly visible; however, the Instagram account for their clothing label, House of Eleven, is not private.)
Distractify notes that it is unclear what the custody arrangement has been between Stacey and ex-husband Goran Vasic, but that could be part of the reason why Mateo and Parker have not appeared on "Darcey & Stacey." Both of Stacey's sons are reported to have turned 18, via Gossip Next Door, which likely would make the decision to appear on television theirs alone in adulthood.
Stacey Silva is clearly proud of her sons
While she doesn't always post about her sons, Stacey Silva is undoubtedly proud of Mateo and Parker Vasic. In 2019, Silva gushed about her first-born son, Mateo, describing him as "so bright and talented" and mentioning his skills as a writer, per Facebook. Silva has also shared a number of photos of both of her sons, many of which appear to be throwback snaps. In a post to celebrate Mother's Day in 2019, Silva wrote, "My sons My World My Heart and soul!!! Mommy loves you Mateo and Parker!!," per Facebook.
In addition to Mateo's skills as a writer, both he and Parker seem to have interests in athletics. Mateo was said to be on his high school's wrestling team, via Monsters & Critics, while Parker is reportedly a soccer player, via Gossip Next Door. Mateo and Parker's father, Goran Vasic, is a former professional soccer player who runs his own soccer academy, via Gossip Next Door.
