Newlyweds Justin Hartley, Chrishell Stause Open Up About Marriage
The This Is Us star couldn't be happier.
Newlyweds Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause gushed to Entertainment Tonight about married life on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, while attending W Magazine's "Best Performances" portfolio event in Los Angeles, Calif.
When the publication asked who he enjoys spending time with the most, Hartley replied, "My lovely wife." But it sounds like life hasn't changed too much for the married pair since tying the knot in October 2017.
"Honestly, the strange thing is, I don't know if this is good or bad, but it doesn't feel that different," Stause said. "Our life is already so settled and amazing. It had more focus on it, but as far as when we go home, everything is the same."
Hartley added, "It's great. It's amazing."
The cute pair also talked the upcoming Golden Globes, where This Is Us is up for Best Drama. Hartley's castmates, Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown, have also received acting noms.
"I have a few co-stars that I'm very, very fond of that I hope win and the show, of course, is the baby, so we're happy to be nominated," the actor said. "But hopefully we bring home a trophy. We'll see what happens."
According to Stause, they plan to "have a glass of champagne to calm everything down" before the Seth Meyers-hosted ceremony begins on Sunday, Jan. 7.
"We kind of put music on. It's really fun," she went on. "I'm just excited. How many chances can you get and you have your husband nominated for a Golden Globe, so no matter the outcome, I will be the happiest person on the planet. I'm so proud of him."
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Hartley, 40, and Stause, 36, who have been together for four years, became engaged in 2015. The happy couple married in late October 2017 in an intimate ceremony at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, Calif., where a number of Hartley's This Is Us co-stars were in attendance to celebrate their nuptials. The former Smallville actor has a 13-year-old daughter, Isabella, from a previous relationship.
While we wait to see how This Is Us fares at the 2018 Golden Globes, read up on the craziest moments from last year's ceremony.
